Even though I am already in university, I still don't know what will I end up with, and where will I end up in? These kind of questions often rises my curiosity to certain level. Where will I be working in the future, this is the question that is driving me insane. Sometimes, I wonder maybe i would be able to find a excellent job in some company and show all my talent and knowledge, and maybe one day I will be able to change the world! But the question is, WHERE, WHERE can I do all these? Before, I thought it is very significant for me to choose a exact place to work or live in the future. Now, I understand, where I work is not even important, but what I do is important. In addition, WHERE i live my life is not that important, what important is who will i live with. After all, I realized that it doesn't matter where i do the stuff, it is the people and what I do matters!

My topic today is about my grandmother, because she was a great role model in my life. She was not highly educated, and she was a Buddhist. My grandmother was a single mother and she maintained a house of seven kids.
My role model- grandmother was a wonderful woman. She was a strong person who taught me
everything I know. Though she was a mother of seven, but she always had a positive attitude towards life, she was my best friend. I feel that my grandmother was a sweet and fair lady. She was very friendly, and tried to get along with everyone. Most of her friends respected her and talked high about her especially those who lived in her village.
She would give her last if someone was in need. My grandmother fed the hungry, donated clothes, helped people to find jobs, and showed good example to kids. The whole village loved my grandmother dearly. She did not have many possessions, but she would give all she had and she never complain. I can remember, when I was a little girl , we used to have cookouts, big play days, and just hanging out enjoying my grandmother company and she enjoyed mine.
She taught me values, how to care and love others. Basically, she showed me how to become a lovely young girl. I wish she was here today, so that I could thank her for everything she has done for me. I am truly blessed to have had her be a part of my life.
My grandmother never attended secondary school. She went to work as a factory worker after primary school . She was not satisfied, so she went back to school for studying. She obtained her form three cert at secondary school. I can remember when I would have trouble, comprehending in class, she would sat me down and explained everything. I got excited when she tutored me. Education was very important to my grandmother as she said that several times. She truly believed that education was the key of success for our future.
I can still recall the enthusiasm my grandmother put in her life, and how she made history and culture so exciting for a kid like me. One day I hope to influence a child in the same way my grandmother influenced me, whether it's my own child, or a grandchild of mine. My love of history began on my grandmother's knee, and I know it will take me many places throughout my life.

opportunity and challenge（机遇和挑战）
The tempo of modern civilization has been much quickened in the last twenty years. While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, people begin to reconsider the question of "survival". "Survival" in the old sense does not bother us anymore. Instead, we are more concerned about how to "survive" in the human world full of competition.
Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyone involved. It might appear in an entrance exam, in a regular class, or in a small public speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity or a challenge a competition really is- will lose something more or less conducive to our growth. Of course, if we take the competition as an opportunity, we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; they will make us become the focus of public attention; they will grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and welcoming than challenges. The truth is, however, we will lose more opportunities when we choose to take the "opportunity" fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us and defined as "fearful challenges", offers much more chances for the walker in competition.
We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things.
We believe in the old saying, "Opportunity knocks but just once," so we always welcome it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devout believer of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of them who pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood into developed areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too much uncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the same miserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.
In conclusion, to define the quality of competition seems to be far from valuable sense, for no matter what a competition is, an opportunity or a challenge, it will create nutritious elements for our growth.
So take a positive look at everything around. Keep our face to the sunshine, and we will not see the shadows.
In front of challenge there are 5 players.
The first player creates opportunity.
The second one attempts opportunity.
The third waits for an opportunity coming, sitting there and crossing his fingers.)
How about the next one, the fourth player? He just simply misses the opportunity.
Worse ever, the last contender ignores an opportunity under his eyes.
If we don't have guts to be the first player, at least, we can push out well-prepared to grasp any possible opportunity as does the second player.

Self Value
Those of us who are on a spiritual path are, strangely enough, the first most likely to turn down offerings of money. You often hear comments that connect money to being un-spiritual. When money is tied in with something spiritual, it seems to arouse suspicion and questions of integrity.
This is an ongoing battle with spiritual people. We don’t want money to be an issue.
But it is. The world runs this way. And no matter how much we’d like to protest that system, we live in it. We want to be good citizens, too. We want to pay our rent and taxes and live peacefully, just like everyone else.
Why has it become so damn hard for us?
We’re making it hard for us.
We’re judging ourselves.
We’re assuming money is somehow immoral or wrong.
This could be due to past conditioning, society’s views of lack impressed upon us, that if we have and don’t give, we lack compassion. That’s the last thing a spiritual person wants to be seen as – lacking in compassion. So we make sure we haven’t got any money to give away charitably. That way, we won’t feel guilty because we won’t have it to spend on ourselves, and no one can point the finger at us saying we’re living in ego.
But we ARE living in ego.
Do we think we are so above the ways and the rules of the world, that we don’t need money and material comforts to survive?! Are we so advanced and evolved above our fellow human beings, that we do not need food and water to keep our strength, clothing and shelter to keep us warm, and yes, money to pay our bills? We have bills, just like everyone else. It is a holy act to pay them in full and on time, so why deny ourselves the right to an income that will pay for these everyday needs?
We are so valuing our lofty ideals of super-spirituality, that we are forgetting to value our Selves. Our Selves includes ALL of our selves. The physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. All of our needs must be met. But if we focus only on our spiritual needs being met, we are in denial of all our other needs that we as humans need to fulfil.
It is our sacred duty to fulfil our Whole, Entire Selves. Not just one aspect. Not just spirituality.
In fact, if we take care of all our other needs FULLY, then spirituality takes care of itself; we cannot eliminate spirituality from our selves, as it is most real.
While you are on this earth and in this body, living in this society, you must play by the rules of the game we all chose to come here to play. You must feed yourself. You must be responsible for yourself. And in order to do this, you must Value Your Self.
You must support yourself. Supporting yourself includes the concept of money. You must welcome money into your life, in order for money to support your life. When you act out of intention to support yourself, you are commanding the universe and society to support you. By investing energy in yourself, you are attracting investment from others. By putting yourself first and foremost, you are nurturing yourself and growing stronger, so that you can be of greater service to your community.
To feed another, you must first know how to feed yourself.
Many people are afraid that if they give themselves attention, they are being selfish or self absorbed. So they give, give, give to others, till they collapse from exhaustion, or become embittered and withdrawn from life. What good are they to anyone then?
The person who heals himself first, is able to heal others. The person who has abundance himself, is able to gift others.
All great theory, but how does this work in practice?
In all thoughts and actions, consider yourself first. Before giving healing, cleanse and heal yourself. Before feeding another, feed yourself first. Before speaking to others, speak to yourself first. Before listening to others, listen to yourself first.
Before you can love another, you must love yourself first.
Before you can value anything… you must value your Self, first.
Practising Self Value is an Every Moment Thing. In every moment, you must listen to yourself. Follow your own guidance, your inner intuition. Listen to your own heart. Walk where your body wants to go, stretch it when it needs movement. Feed it when it signals hunger and thirst. Bathe your body lovingly. Give your mind some peace in nature, or soothe it with beautiful music. Nourish it with knowledge.
Surround yourself only with those things you love, and those people that support you. Remove anything in your environment that offends you, just as you would wash dirt off your hands. Instate boundaries and enforce your own personal rules of safety, and those which are in alignment with your integrity.
And most of all, accept money. Accept gifts. Accept payment. Accept compliments. By accepting things of value, you are accepting your self. You are accepting your value.
There is no need to be modest.
Of course, you are great!
We all are!
Always honour yourself as highly as you would any creature or thing in the universe. Because by honouring yourself, you are automatically telling the world that you honour it also. By treasuring who you are, you are celebrating your creator, and everything that exists in your world. By attending to your self value, you are confirming to the universe of your joy to be a part of it. You are playing the full part. You are leaving nothing out. You are giving the best of what you have, to yourself, and this multiplies over and over, so you become like a continuous waterfall, replenishing all the rivers on earth.
The only job you have in this world is to Value Your Self.
The rest, then, takes care of Itself.

Devotion,which means the concentration of our mind and effort in doing things,is another key factor to success.Whanever job we are doing,we must love it and do it whole-heartedly.Only when we set our minds on the joban we do it well.

Self-awareness.The ability to recognize an emotion as it 鈥渉appens鈥 is the key to your EQ.Developing self-awareness requires tuning in to your true feelings.If you evaluate your emotions,you can manage them.The major elements of self-awareness are:
* Emotional awareness.Your ability to recognize your own emotions and their effects.
*Self-confidence.Sureness about your self-worth and capabilities.

In order to be a great global citizen,there are a few requirements,and a few difficulties that you have to overcome.There are requirements like you have to understand the different type of culture that you will experience in the different parts of the world,also,you have to be able to have a wide range of understanding of different cultures.
Let's elaborate of that.What does it mean to be able to understand the different types of cultures that you will experience in the different parts of the world?Does it mean that you have to be able to act like them when you are in their country?Or does it mean to be able to accept a variety of different types of thinking?A study conducted by Mann,Radford,et al.(1998),was conducted through questionnaire in three Western and three East Asian cultures,to measure confidence in decision-making ability.The result of this study shows that different people in different culture think differently thus they have different of decision-making abilities.
In conclusion,in order to be a global citizen,you have to understand the different ways that people act,the ways that people think,and the ways that people make decisions.If you fulfill all these requirements,and respect them; you will be able to call yourself a global citizen.

Arrived in Amsterdam last night after an uneventful train ride from Düsseldorf.My hotel is near the train station and although my room is nice,it is about half the side of the bathroom of the room we had over the weekend at the Youth hostel we stayed in.

in realizing one’s dreams is experience.As we grow up,we are expose to many
things,joy,success,stress and lot more.When we are little,we always live
in uncertain.We are scare of the future,we are afraid of the unknown.
However,when we finally grow up and go through
all sorts of joys and sorrows of life,we would find
out what we truly wanted inside us.Not just an act on impulse but a decision that
we make and we would take responsibility of.Therefore,I think experience is
the key factor to know what one’s dream are.
Like I said in the first paragraph,experience is what make us grow .I think part-time jobs is an opportunity for us to expose to the society and to gain experience.We can learn many things from part-time jobs.There are things we are able to get from part-time jobs that we can't get it from anywhere else.
Toward failure,I think this is something we all go through before.It is always said that "failure is the mother of success".I think failure would make us mature.As we grow up,we learned and often from failures.We learn from what we did wrong and try to do better the next time.Therefore,I think if we can overcome failure,see failure as a motivate to do better then failure would be a stepping stone of our success.

Team Work
Team work is very important in our work. It is quite often that one is not able to carry out a job by itself. He needs more people to comlete it together. We can say some importance jobs could not be done without teamwork.For example,in a football match,very memember plays a different role which is important,all memembers must cooperate with each other to fight against the opponent team.They can only win the match when they do good teamwork,or they will be defeated.
China has an old saying,"Unity is strength",which means the importance of teamwork.

Everyone has a dream.
Now I want to say something about my dream.What is my dream?I often ask myself.In my mind,everyone shall have his own dream.my dream is a famous fashion designer.
My dream is to be a fashion designer.Because as a fashion designer,I can design a lot of beautiful clothes and make this world more colorful.I like to do handwork,I like to draw too.I will try my best to learn more to make my dream come true.It is said that a life without dream is like a persion without soul.So everybody has a dream and I am not an exceptional one.Scince I was a in a primary school,I have wanted to be a teacher.
As a teacher,I would like to see my students come to be a useful persion.Of course,to be a teacher is not an easy thing.And I know that if I want my dream to come ture,I need work hard.
In a word,whatever my dream is,i should try my best to realize it.
