怎样提高学生的写作水平呢?这个问题很多年来一直困扰着无数的语文教师,令语文界同仁们感到无比棘手.学生写作水平提高不起来,直接影响到语文教学质量,要提高语文教学质量,必须在写作方面进行重点攻关,只有攻克难关,才能激发学生的写作兴趣,提高学生的写作水平.根据我多年来的经验总结,现提出几点见解,与同行们共同探究.
一、细致观察,追求真实.
什么是观察?所谓观察,就是用眼睛去看,要远“观”近察,事事留心,时时注意,并养成一种习惯.被誉为世界短篇小说之王的法国作家莫泊桑曾拜当时著名的作家福楼拜为师,一天,他把自己坐在屋里编的准备写成小说的故事讲给福楼拜听.福楼拜听后说:“我劝你不要忙于写这些虚拟的东西,你每天骑马到外面转一圈,把路上看到的一切准确地、细致地记录下来”.于是莫泊桑意识到福楼拜是教他首先学会用眼睛去观察、认识、练好观察这一基本功.从此,他花了一年左右的时间,每天外出观察,终于写成了小说《点心》,并成为世界著名的小说家.所以学会观察是提高写作水平的第一要素.我在多年的教学中,常听一些学生说:“我就怕作文,一拿起笔起来就头疼,总学得没东西可写”.有的干脆说:“我不知道该写什么,从何写起.”有的作文虽然也交上来,但是仔细一看,生搬硬套的多,甚至瞎编一些内容,空洞无物,脱离实际.为什么造成作文难写呢?总的来说,就是缺少观察,没有真实感,因此无从下笔.如何改变这种现象呢?我认为,首先要学会观察.我在教初中语文第三册阿累写的《一面》这篇课文时,指出作者阿累在描写鲁迅外貌时,五次写了他的“瘦”.其中三次是从远到近更清楚,更细致地写出外貌特征.为什么作者对鲁迅的外貌特征写得那么传神,那么典型呢?主要是作者善于细致的观察,内心有独特的感受.所以,我指导学生进行写作训练时,非常重视观察,重视写真实内容.因此,每个星期的作文课,我都利用一定的时间带学生走出课堂,进行实地写作,有时在校园里观察校园植物,观察竹子、树木、花草,有时在周末时间到野外参观,进行野外写作,领略秀美的自然风光.经过这样的训练,不但激发了学生写作兴趣,积累丰富的题材,写出真实内容,而且能陶冶道德情操使学生得到美的享受.
二、积累素材,学而致用.
在教学中,碰到有不少的学生平时很少看课外书,特别是语文课外阅读方面的书籍,有的甚至除了课本之外,没有一本课外阅读材料,很少看书读报,写作的知识贫之,甚至连句子都写不通顺,写作文时想一句写一句,感到无话可说,无物可写.或者刚开了个头,敷衍了几句,就草草收场.内容空泛,不知所云,因此对作文望而生畏.为了能改变害怕作文的现象,做到出口成章,下笔成文,平时要多进行阅读,多积累写作素材.正如杜甫所说的:“读书破万卷,下笔如有神.”“书读百篇,其义自见.”书读多了,才能博古通今,写起文章来,才胸有成竹,得心应手.但是经验告诉我们,仅仅靠多读是不够的,“唐宋八大家之一的韩愈曾说:”“学以为耕,文以为获”.这是说阅读是写作的先导,没有读的“耕耘”就没有写的“收获”.所以在强调学生读书的基础上要对所读之书进行熟读精思,融会贯通.积累素材,让它成为自己写作的“活水源头”,并学会运用,使作文内容应笔而生,有如涌泉,滔滔不绝,内容充实有力.
我们所学的课文有许多范文都是作者对人物或动物细致观察写下来的真实素材.如《一面》中对鲁迅的描写,《鹤群翔空》中的鹤群飞翔姿态的描写,鹤鹰搏斗的场面的描写,只要认真阅读,积累素材,就能变为自己有用的东西.此外,除了从书本中积累素材外,可以从日常生活中积累,比如,就人新事的出现,各种有益的宣传,自然现象,社会新闻,国际时事等等这都是极好的素材,只要注意这方面的人和事,自然就会有丰富的素材,这样写作起来,就能妙笔生花,得心应手,运用自如.
三、提倡模仿,培养兴趣.
模仿是借鉴的一种形式,但模仿不是简单的照搬,应当是创造性的借鉴.模仿的特点是针对性强,有法可循,既降低了写作的难度,又收到明显的效果.对于写作水平不高的学生,应积极提倡模仿和借鉴范文,逐步培养写作兴趣,使之循序渐进地沿着写作的道路走下去,逐渐地提高写作能力.即使刚开始时的机械模仿,也应加以表扬和肯定,使他们产生写作的兴趣和欲望.历史上有许多文学家也曾模仿古人写作,成为一代风范,如王勃的名句“落霞与孤鹭齐飞,秋水共长天一色”就是从庾信的“落花与芝盖齐飞,场杨柳共春旗一色”脱化而来的.又如历史上左丘明的《左传》、司马迁的《史记》他们的写法,都为后世的散文家、小说家、戏剧家所模仿.课本中的许多文章都是很好的范文,学生学了课文,可以模仿写作,使学以致用.例如我教了郑振铎的《猫》一课,让学生以另一动物为题模仿写作,有很多学生仿写很成功,把课文写法转化为自己的能力.虽然模仿是提高写作能力的第一步,但不能一味地模仿,作文开始起步时,可以进行模仿,但入门后,必须脱离仿写,走创新之路,追求自己的写法,有自己的特点.
四、多说多写,下笔成章 .
我们在日常生活中,碰到很多例子,有些学生很会说话,口若悬河,滔滔不绝,然而在写作文时却绞尽脑汁,写不出多少内容来,究竟原因何在?因为在日常生活中“说”的机会较多,几乎不费多少力气,但“写”的机会很少.光说不写,怎能提高写作水平呢?因此在写作训练时,我重在指导学生说练结合,多写多练,并且,不但要说得好,而且要写得好.我每教完一篇课文,就布置与课文相关的小作文训练题,有时让学生在课堂中完成,有时先让学生思考,下课后再让学生练习,要求写在作文本上,有一些当为作业题去做,比如,让学生写出作文题的题眼及作文的提纲,有的则写续写部分,有的进行改写训练等等,经过多方面的训练,写作水平相应地得到很大的提高,学生写作的情绪也日渐高涨,并自发地开展了写作竞赛活动.
五、多些表扬,少点批评.
我们在批改学生作文时,无论写得怎样,都要首先给予肯定和表扬,毕竟都有其闪光点,有好的一面,在表扬之后,委婉指出不足之处,让其知道作文的优点和缺点,这样才能增强自信,提高写作兴趣,乐于多读多写,在作文中,有些学生的作文内容并不太好,但在用词、造句方面有值得学习的地方,我们也要给予表扬和赞美,让其产生写作兴趣,能够勤读多练.如果教师在评学生的作文时,批评的多,表扬的少,那无形中象泼了一盆冷水,使之对写作文的热情倾刻间消失,失去自信,增加了畏惧感,对提高写作水平更加不利.
六、勤写片段,多记日记 .
在平时的作文教学中,我常要求学生留心观察,勤写片段,多记日记,以及写心得体会之类的小练笔.如在人物描写方面,采取动景、静景等多角度描写训练,并要求学生持之以恒,坚持不懈,平时勤写片段,多记日记,把自己所见、所闻、所感淋漓尽致地表达出来,这不仅可以得到一种精神享受和乐趣,而且对提高写作水平大有益处.因此,我在作文教学中,强调每位学生每天写一则日记,大至一千八百字的篇幅,可以对时事发表看法和见解,小至遣词造句.也可以是写一段有关景物描写和人物描写的片断,这样,学生不但养成了爱写日记的好习惯,而且经过一段时间的练笔后,素材积累丰富了,写作水平也得到了较大的提高.
七、鼓励创作,推荐发表 .
任何人要想学好一种东西,兴趣是至关重要的.它是获得知识、进行创造性创作的一种自觉动机,是鼓舞和推动学生创作的内在动力,也是提高写作水平的重要途径.因此我在作文教学中鼓励学生进行创作写出优秀作文进行发表.为了能写出更多优秀作文,我首先让学生留意身边的人和事,记录新人新事,从班内到校内,从课内到课外,从校园到社会,然后进行合理的选村和组村,写出优秀作文,上送学校广播室及学校报刊编辑小组,让其优秀作文得以播出和刊出.这样,会极大地刺激他们的写作兴趣,让他们感到作文的份量,从而大大地提高了创作的积极性.总之,在作文教学中,只有激发学生的写作兴趣,才能使学生多读多写,提高作文水平,解决长期困扰语文界的一大难题.
