The house on Mango Street is a very good book.After reading this book,I am be infected very much.It just likes a ‘Growing Pains’ in poem.Sometimes,I think it may be another ‘Waiting for Godot’,because it has an ending that give you a lot of fantasies.Most time,I was thinking what Esperanza’s future will be like.Live in a very beautiful house on a hill as her wants?Or still live in the mango street?
This book recorded the last time of young girl’s time.Maybe like a ripe mango,full of pulps and juice.When you tough or collide it,it always has a vestige on it,so the writer writes these vestiges down,to make a lot of little exquisite stories.
