第一种方法：主要是看 you are + adj.是否成立 如果成立用of 不成立用for
举个例子：it is kind of you to help us.这里的kind 如果代入上边的句形是 you are kind（你是善良的）很明显成立所以用of,其它的词如nice,helpful.很多,作题时自己理解

也可以说第二句,只不过一定得要用“that”：I found that it is difficult to understand.
第三句语法说不通；可以说I don't find it difficult, I find it easy/I didn't find it difficult, I found it easy,但决不能用双重负词（除非在个别场合的高级段落中写上not unlike,等）,更不能不用that（I think that it's easy）.
To be 本身就不是个行动动词,而是个辅助动词（例如to have）.既然是辅助的,用法就比一般动词复杂些.以上举的例子不用它是因为英语是最简洁的一种语言；它由不得任何多余的词语.所以,I found it difficult to understand 的本意是“我发觉它很难理解”,是个简单的宣示句.如果加上is的话,就成了“我发觉它“是”很难理解”了.如用后者,就变成了强调“它”有多难的新句子,所以需要“that”来调和成I found that it IS difficult to understand（我发觉“到”它真是很难理解）.
