For pore solution extrusion tests,deionized water was used for the preparation
of cement paste specimens.Sodium chloride equivalent to 1% and
2% by weight of cement was predissolved in the mix water; this corresponds
to original chloride ion concentrations of 0.6% and 1.2% by weight of
cement,respectively.Cemen~t paste specimens were prepared at a constant
water/cement ratio of 0.6,using a standard ASTM Hobart mixer and a
mixing procedure in accordance with ASTM C305.After mixing,the specimens
were cast in 49 mm x 75 mm cylindrical impermeable plastic molds,
sealed,and stored at 20 -+ 2℃
