My sister teach as an English taecher in a middle shool near my house. 这句话不是很确定,感觉应该是这样的吧,呵呵!
She wants her mom to buy a teddy bear for her. 句型是want sb. to do sth. 想让某人做某事.
Li Ming is busy preparing for next week's chemistry test.忙于做某事是：be busy doing sth. 准备做某事是：prepare for sth.

sandycy已经说得很详细了,不过我觉得应该更形象点,而不是直接扔下一句“the whole story 固定搭配,没什么特别的理由.”
whole在这里是形容词,形容词后直接加名词,这一点应该没什么疑问吧.像这里,whole story就是“整个的故事”的意思,这时只需要在前面加个冠词就完整了,至于是定冠词a还是不定冠词the都关系不大.
或者可以用排除法来选,没有人说“整个的的故事”的吧?（whole就已经是“整个的”）于是,就可以直接把故事（名词）前面带of的答案,即ACD给排除掉,爽快吧,哈哈!
再引申一下,会有这样一种表达a whole story of,这就是“一个关于……的故事”的意思,注意这里的of是跟在名词的后面哦.

老师生气了,因为有人没有完成作业.
显然这是表示一个“结果”,产生了影响.所以完成时好.
