In ArcGis 10.Or 9.3.Clip a raster file, attribute does not change accordingly.
I used "clip (data management)" to cut a raster file (in the attribute table of this file,"value" is elevation; "count" is count of cells with a same elevation. These two attributes were in the original file I downloaded).I used clip to get a smaller raster file for a smaller area. But the value and count attributes remained the same with the big raster file.I think these two could not be edited, right?Do you know how to get new "count" data?I added a new field to the attribute table but don’t know the right function. There are hundreds of elevation (from 215 to 952).Thanks!
