我的探索
一次老师给我们留了一份特殊的作业——让我们利用废旧物品做一件有科技含量的作品.
我想了又想,决定“造船”.回到家,我找到废泡沫塑料做船体,旧牙签代替钢钉,窗子用蓝水笔画,小红旗用金龙鱼油的标签制作.一切符合废物利用的原则.一艘双体客船终于做成了.
我兴致勃勃地将船放进水池中,令我扫兴的是它浮在水面却一动不动.怎样才能使它行驶哪?我冥思苦想了好一阵子.突然眼前一亮.不久前的一天,我用几个肥皂盒,当小船在浴盆里玩,突然发现一个皂盒行驶起来,其它的皂盒却浮在那里不动.我十分好奇,拿起它一看,发现它下面粘着一小块肥皂.心想：莫非是这小块肥皂在起作用?对呀,何不大胆地尝试一下呢?我用小刀切下一片肥皂粘在船底,但未见船动.怎么不灵啦.哦,可能是粘错位置了?我从新调整了几次,仍旧不动,此时,我有些心灰意冷了.心想算了吧.就在我刚要放弃的那一瞬间,“我要反复思考好几个月,有九十九次结论都是错的,可是第一百次我对了.”爱因斯坦的这句名言在我耳边久久地回响着.是呀!做事怎能半途而废呢?我又振作起精神,反复试验起来,最后我在船尾的水线下方,挖了个槽,将一小片肥皂粘了上去.当船再一次进水时,哇!只见它笔直地朝前方缓缓地驶去.
望着行驶的小船,我喃喃自语道：“肥皂为什么能使小船行驶呢?”被一旁的老爸听到了,他耐心解释说：“是因为肥皂表面张力大于水的缘故.” 我这才恍然大悟.
通过这次试验,我明白了：只有大胆地尝试,才会取得成功.

的绝缘性能下降而产生局部短路,如果保护电路性能不佳,则会引起行管损坏.这时可瑟同
型号正常机器相比较,通过测量行输出级电流来判断.如果开机瞬间马上就烧坏行管,此时
用手摸散热片的温度较高,则说明是行偏转线圈或行输出变压器有短路,引起行管过流击穿.3、行频过低 因为流过行偏转线圈电流的最大值与行正程扫描时间成正比,即行频越低,
周期越长,行正程时间相应变长,结果使行偏转电流上升,当超过行管所承受的电流最大值
时,使行管烧坏.因此,在调整行频时,应避免使行频长期处于偏低状态4、行逆程时间过短.在行逆程期间,会产生很高的反峰脉冲电压,这就要求行逆程电
容、行输出管、阻尼二极管等元件具有很高的耐压能力.当行逆程电容容量变小、失效或环
节路时,反峰脉冲电压上升,一旦超过行管的耐压值,就会出现行管换一只烧一只的结果.
此时,迅速用手摸行管的散热片,若温度与未开机前差不多,则说明是因为逆程电容开路而
引起的过压击穿.解决方法,是将行逆程电容全部换新.5、行激励不足 如果行激励不足,行管不能迅速饱和,导致行管内阻变大,使行扫描纯
正性变差；如果行激励不足,行管不能迅速地截止,使行管长时间地处一动有电流渡过的不
正常工作状态,将造成行输出电路的功耗增加,引起行输出管发烫.一旦超过行管功耗的极
限值,则会使行管再度烧坏.其时间间隔有快有慢,有的刚开机就烧坏行管,有的过一段时
间才烧坏行管.若时间间隔长,不妨用示波器观察激励级的波形,可帮助找到故障原因.造
成行激励不足的原因有：行激励管性能不良；行激励变压器的供电电阻阻值增大；行激励变
压器周围元件有虚焊；行激励变压器初级绕组上的滤波电容变质；行振荡电路的晶振不良；
集成电路中行振荡电路单独供电脚的外接电容失效造成滤波不良.
6、环境潮湿 这使行输出变压器周围元件漏电,或者因散热不良（如将彩电置于柜内,
或维修时行管与散热板上的固定螺丝未拧紧）,行管过热,使其耐压降低,最终损坏行管.
7、行偏转线圈开路 此时行扫描正程后半段行管导通的时间将会大于其截止的时间,使
行管在逆程时间内也短暂导通,导致行管损坏.因此,维修时要特别小心,在行偏转线圈及
其回路开路的情况下,如果长时间通电检修,是极危险的.
8、S 校正电容短路,枕校电路元件短路 使行电流大增,造成行管因过流而击穿.此
外,阻尼二极管开路,自举升压电容短路,高压电泄露（如高压打火,高压线穿孔）,行管
质量差、显像管内部跳火、AFC 电路有故障等,也会造成行管击穿.
9、开关电源中的行脉冲信号耦合电容、取样电压滤波电容失容.受附近大功率元件高
温烘烤后,容易失容而变质,导致行管击穿,根治方法是将这些电容换成钽电容

The “therapeutic” method of cloning is much like the reproductive procedure used; however,instead of producing a cloned embryo to place in a womb,the point of this procedure is to generate stem cells—as opposed to brining an egg to full term.The purpose of this strategy is to allow creation of tissues or organs that the clonal donor can use without having those tissues or organs rejected by his or her body's immune system.
As expected,there are various pros and cons to the process of cloning.The most common case made for cloning is the argument that the research could lead to the development of prescription drugs and medical procedures that may be able to treat human deficiencies that science is currently unable to combat.Other arguments in favor of cloning are that it may make it possible for scientists to preserve endangered species and present models of diseases that is unknown currently.Those who support cloning seem to believe that the “possibilities” within the unknown will reap great benefits for humankind.
On the other side of the argument are individuals who believe that cloning is an immoral procedure and that humans have no right to play God.Besides the possibility of cloning eventually becoming easily accessible and people abusing the science,many individuals believe that experimenting with human life and possibly creating human clones that are deficient or disease-ridden is morally unjust.Another aspect of cloning that cannot be ignored is that it may involve the destruction of embryos—which deters individuals on a fundamental moral basis.
After reviewing the info,I have a split opinion on the topic of cloning.I have decided that I am against reproductive cloning,but do support therapeutic cloning and stem cell research.No matter how optimistic I try to be with the topic of reproductive cloning,I find it cruel and unjust to clone a human being with the intent not to let it develop freely as any human would,but to treat it more as a living object to extract data.I also fear that if the cloning of humans becomes a huge success it could eventually have an impact on human reproduction.Stem cell research and therapeutic cloning provides great opportunities to help patients and has the potential to provide great amounts of new information while keeping it at a cellular level (without developing the embryo into a full human being).

从几年前北京着手申办2008年北京奥运会开始,2008年北京奥运会这个话题就一直备受关注.目前关注的焦点已从申办之初许下的诺言转移到如何真正履行诺言.在我看来,要跨越诺言与现实之间的鸿沟,北京还有很长一段路要走.
The 2008 Olympic Game has been the most discussed and anticipated event through out Beijing ever since Beijing bid for it years ago. Yet the focus has shifted from making a promise to making good a promise after Beijing’s successful bid. In my opinion, to bridge the gap between a promise and reality, Beijing still has a long way to go. Here are some of my ideas on how to fill that gap.
首先,在所有亟待解决的问题中,跨越英语口语这一难关至关重要.学会一门语言的关键在于坚持不懈.我们到能不能做到让大多数国人在2008年到来之前都学会说英语?这一问题需要我们不断努力和尝试.
First, the speaking of English is far most important than all other difficulties. Learning a language takes a long time and a lot of heart ship, it’s not easy. So can we get most of Chinese to speak English before 2008? It needs us to try and practice very hard.
其次,交通拥挤一直是困扰北京的老大难问题.一辆接一辆车连在一起构成的汽车长龙加之它们不断排放到空气中的黑烟这种情景早就给我们留下了深刻的印象.我相信没有一个国人愿意把北京的这一面暴露给来自世界各地的参赛队员和新闻记者,因为它会严重损坏北京的形象和声誉.所以,我们必须致力于建设绿色奥运这一目标.
Second, traffic jams have been an age-old headache in Beijing, the scenes of long queues of vehicles worming their way inch by inch while discharging dark fumes into the air had given all of us a really bad impression, and I know that none of us wish to show off that side of Beijing to athletes and journalists over the world, it would blemish the city’s image and leave a bad reputation. So we have to work real hard on Green Olympics.
还有,为了各项工作的顺利实施,一个高瞻远瞩的整体城市规划必不可少.如果时间允许,重新设计和调整北京的建筑风格会为构建北京的城市特色创造环境.把东方的精致和西方的宏伟结合在一起一定会在众多建筑风格中独树一帜.要做到以上几点,北京应该听取得来自一流建筑师的建议并作出整体规划.
Thirdly, to add enchantment to convenience, an over-all city planning is indispensable. If time permits, a redesign of city layout and adjustment of architectural style would provide a better environment for fostering the characteristics, blending oriental elegance with international grandeur, will tower a lot among surrounding architectures. To achieve such effects, Beijing shall solicit opinions from first-rate architects and make an overall plan.
尽管如此,要实现全世界对北京的期盼,北京还有许许多多工作要做.但我们有信心在2008年到来之前把北京建设成为一个全新的城市.巨大的变化每天都在这个城市发生,相信在不远的将来,北京将会成为全世界关注的焦点.世界相信北京,这也是北京申奥成功的原因.我们一定会抓住这次机遇并为之全力以赴.今天,我们还没有做好准备,但在2008年到来之前我们一定会准备好!
Even though, Beijing still has a lot to do to reach the level that the world expects, but we have the confidence to make Beijing a brand new city by the year 2008. Huge changes are taking places, and not far in the future, Beijing will be the focus of all worlds’ attention. The world trusts Beijing and that’s why Beijing won the bid. We will grasp this opportunity and do our best. We are not yet ready but we will be by the year 2008.

My Feelings after reading Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love.After reading the whole story,I would like to talk about the main characters of the story—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff.Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff do love each other very much,but they do not have the right attitude towards love,which leads to the tragedy.
In Catherine’s life,she made a very foolish decision---marrying to Edgar.In fact,her love for Edgar can never be compared to that for Heathcliff.She did so,because she thought the wealth of Edgar would be useful to help Heathcliff.But in reality,it did not work.She did not have a good understanding of love,which is something pure and saint.If anyone add any purpose into love,love itself lost its meaning.Catherine’s wrong decision hurt two people who love her,and even destroyed the happiness of their offspring.
Heathcliff is a man full of retaliation.He loved Catherine very much,but what he did,on the contrary,added to the misery of Catherine.In my opinion,if he really loved Catherine,he should not walk into Catherine’s life again after his disappearance.Further more,after the death of Catherine,what Heathcliff did brought agony to Catherine’s daughter,as well as his own son.
After reading,I have a better understanding of love.If you love really someone,his or her happiness is the thing that most matters.

Take time out during the day for quiet time to listen to your inner voice. You may want to use your quiet time to meditate or pray. One day Levi was out selling dry goods,and he looked all around and saw that there were more dry goods sellers than just him.So Levi figured out that he had a better opportunity to make more money somewhere where there was less dry good salespeople.His sister and her husband had just opened a store in San Francisco.So they wrote back to Levi asking him if he wanted to come and work in the store and also live with them.Levi went to San Francisco.
In the store Levi and his brother-in-law sold many different things such as cloth,shirts,pants,and other dry goods.His sister's husband died at an age of fifty one.Levi took over the business.As the business grew,Levi became richer and richer.
One day Levi got a letter from Jacob Davis.Jacob told Levi that he had made pants using the denim that Levi sold.Jacob used copper rivets,so the pockets wouldn't rip.People wanted Jacob's pants.Jacob and Levi became a team.The pants became famous.The store people that were making the pants added a patch.The patch was a picture of two horses trying to pull Levi's sturdy pants apart.It is still on the pants today.
After a while,Levi became a multimillionaire.In Levi's spare time,he gave money to the deaf and to the poor.On September 26,1902 Levi died in his sleep at an age of seventy three.Levi had many different challenges in his life.He moved from town to town and city to city before he was famous.People still wear his pants today.

Later,some may suffer pains of losing love,pains of working and then of suppoting a family.
Growing up seems to mean endless pains,.So many people wish to return to childhood.
