SUbcontracting Order on other Plant ,Possible?
Dear Gurus,I have two Plants under my company code.I am sending one matl.say 'A' from my Plant1 to Plant2 for some machining.Plant2 do machining and send me Matl.'B' ( B is Parent and A is child in BOM)In return Plant1 have to pay to Plant2 ( debit note)Currently we are doing it by making two transfer Orders First from Plant 1 and then from Plant2.But I want to know whether it is possible to do this transaction same like subcontracting order.In which my Plant2 will be vendor for Plant1I tried doing this in my development server.But system gives me error message that Matl.'B' is not maintained in Plant2.SInce Plant2 is my subcontracting vendor now ,and we dont create matl.master for vendor therefore I have not extended matl.master for Plant2.Am I missing anything?Is this type of transaction possible?Pl.help,ipca

grantbin 共回答了15个问题 | 采纳率93.3%: If you are doing subcontract orders,then the vendor (plant 2) will either create a purchase order to plant 1 to procure the components or they can receive directly with mvt 501 without reference to a PO.So your plant 2 has to create as well a new vendor master for plant 1.The materials need to be created anyway.If the materials are provided without costs,then they may need to create the materials to be consumed within a seperate material type (UNBW).This will probably create some confusion for all users as they will get two hits if searching for a material.Plant 2 will have to create a sales order manually,where they need a new customer master for plant 1.Better you stay with the intercompany process.; 1年前
