Variation shall be governed by all the provisions of the Contract,evaluated in accordance with this Section III and administered in accordance with Section V - Administration Instructions.
Any costs incurred by the Contractor in estimating and evaluating the effects of a Variation shall not in themselves result in an adjustment to the Contract Price.
Estimates,where required,of the effect on the Contract Price shall be prepared in accordance with the prices and rates fixed in the Section III,for example,the Labour Unit Rates as in Article 13.0(3) of this Section.
The amount to be paid in respect of any Variation shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in the Purchase Contract and shall be on the basis stated on the Variation Form authorized by the Company.Such basis may be the same as or different from a basis specified for the preparation of an estimate of the effect of the Variation.
The Company shall specify on the relevant part of the Variation Form the basis upon which either estimates or evaluation of the effects of a Variation shall be prepared.
