A:much less
C:far more 没这样的说法,但是有far more than “不仅仅是”
D:far less

People make history; unusual people make history interesting.
Your car is new; mine is six years old.
Follow this procedure:first, get your application forms; next, fill them out; last, pay the charge.
3)用于由for example,namely,in fact等引出的分句之前.
例:
Tom is well-liked; in fact,he is the most popular person in the class

way 的用法是in ...way,以...方式,因此,way做先行词时定语从句的引导词理应用 in which:the way (in which)consumers now approach the process of making purchase decisions
“the way consumers now approach the process of making purchase decisions ”的字面意思是 顾客(处理)做出购买决定这个过程 的方式,这种翻译当然不好,只是希望帮助你理解意思即可.

A growing number of consumers, especially young people , are a dopting more Western habits when it comes to spending money—by favoring credit cards over savings.
A survey of 11,500 people in 18 cities by The Nielson Company found the credit card market had witnessed a major change in recent years.
“Today’s consumer is clearly not interested in saving for a rainy day, as may have been the case in the past,” Bega Ng, director of financial services research with the company said. “Consumers have been adopting Western habits and attitudes in almost every way—including saving and spending habits. Consumers in their 20s spend tomorrow’s cash to fund today’s needs.”
The report found consumers aged 18 to 24 were the most eager credit card users.
Although the report did not give the amounts credit card users in each of the 18 cities spent, it mentioned the example of Xiamen, a coastal city in Fujian Province, where consumers put an average of 50 percent of their monthly incomes into their credit card accounts to indulge(沉湎于) in cashless shopping.
Included in the survey for the first time, Xiamen is reported to have a fast growing penetration rate(渗透率) for credit cards, with four out of ten consumers now owning at least one card. With more than half of cardholders in Xiamen owning two or more cards, it is catching up with key “tier one” cities, the report said. The report did not make known the figures in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Last year, the same Nielson survey showed Shanghai had the biggest population of credit card holders, with citizens owning 1.8 credit cards on average. Half of them use credit cards at least once a week, the survey said.
Yunfei, 30, from Beijing, said she spent at least 2,000 yuan a month by credit cards, most of which went on daily necessities and dining out.
小题1:Which of the following best shows the young urbanites’ idea of consumption?
A.Using credit cards in every way.
B.Spending tomorrow’s cash for today’s needs.
C.Owning more cards for cashless shopping.
D.Saving money for future use.
小题2:How is the situation of credit card use in Xjamen?
A.Forty percent of the consumers own at least one card.
B.Credit card users use up most of their monthly income.
C.The number of credit card users is larger than that in Guangzhou.

小题3:Which city had the largest number of credit card users according to a previous survey?
A.Xiamen. B.Beijing. C.Shanghai. D.Guangzhou.

Consumers’ bids in a group-buying auction are an indication of perceived trust in the initiator and perceived risk toward the mechanism. The extent of auction participation and bidding shows the liquidity of the sale goods—a network effect. In economics, positive network effects are generally associated with relatively larger installed bases of technology adoption and so on.Network effects increase consumer demand.Microeconomic theory stresses the effect that the value of a unit of network goods increases with the number of units sold, and that a network participant’s utility will increase with the number of other users participating. There is a connection to group buying in this respect. The number of existing auction bids acts as installed base for participation, and is related to perceptions of trust and risk in group-buying.The risks that consumers face are the final auction price, and whether the group-buying auction concludes successfully.Existing bids also may load on trust in the group-buying initiator. If there is little or no trust, there will be no bidding. So the number of bids may provide information on how much consumers trust the initiator and believe that the auction will succeed.
Word-of-mouth and reputation can also increase trust. There are several types of online reputation systems for e-commerce,search engine, online news, etc.Auction websites eBay and Yahoo!use two common formats for online feedback systems.Ratings give a quantitative reading on reputation.Textual comments enable users to describe their evaluations in words.Seller ratings often influence product prices, and textual comments change the seller’s pricing power.Textual comments may provide detailed and valuable information that cannot be found from ratings. For example, when a consumer finds a negative rating for a targeted group-buying auction initiator,he might want to understand how it resulted.Did the initiator do something wrong?Or was the rating inappropriate? From textual comments,a consumer can learn about how much trust to place in the opinion and its initiator. This may help consumers to make decisions about participating in group-buying auctions.Textual comments from participants are known to be a valuable mechanism in electronic auctions, but their effects are still unclear when the initiator plays a key role in group buying auction.

In the face of rising gas costs, many consumers are beginnin

In the face of rising gas costs, many consumers are beginning to consider the choice of a hybrid(混合动力的) vehicle--one which operates on both gas and electricity. All of the models of hybrid car will save money, but are they really effective when all of the costs of maintenance(维修) and other considerations are included in?
First of all, consider the cost of buying a hybrid vehicle. Depending on the model, hybrid vehicles can cost anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000 more than the traditional models. However, some say that as the hybrid cars become increasingly more available as a reflection of demand, the prices can be expected to drop, making them more cost effective when it comes to the initial investment(初始投资).
Also important to keep in mind is the fact that the hybrid cars have a much more specialized system than the standard vehicle, and will therefore require more specialized workers to repair them when they break down.
It seems as though, at least for the time being, the purchase of a hybrid vehicle for the average consumer may not be the best choice when it comes to saving money. It is important to keep several things in mind, however, when considering purchasing a hybrid model. Many consumers are choosing to purchase these cars because they represent a significant development in terms of environmental concerns over standard models. They also mean that as a whole, Western nations will become less dependent on oil as the only means of power.
Finally, it is necessary to remember that the hybrid car is a very new technology. Developed only within the last few years, the technology is still in the starting stage, where costs will continue to be high. As time passes, the development of the hybrid technology will begin to push prices down to the point where hybrids are more competitive with the traditionally fueled models of the past.
72.What is the purpose of writing this article?
A. To tell the readers about the advantages of hybrid cars.
B. To warn the readers of the disadvantages of hybrid cars.
C. To advise people to think twice before buying hybrid cars.
D. To call on people to buy hybrid cars to protect the environment.
73.Which is the benefit of hybrid cars?
A. Consuming less gas. B. Being easier to drive.
C. Lower initial investment. D. Lower maintenance cost.
74.What do we know from the passage?
A. The hybrid technology is very new and mature as well.
B. It’s not easy to repair a hybrid car due to its special system.
C. Many average consumers can not afford to buy hybrid cars.
D. The traditional vehicles are much safer to drive than hybrid cars.
75.We can infer from the passage that in the future.
A. the traditional cars will gradually disappear
B. the hybrid vehicles will gradually disappear
C. the cost of hybrid cars will be more reasonable
D. the hybrid technology will bring oil prices down

in one sence the effect of a customer's mood can be thought of,just like our reactions to the behavior of our friends can "ALSO" be thought of.

These labels encourage consumers to see clothes as disposable and to renew their wardrobe every few weeks.然后我们看去掉的部分,这是对主句加以补充,that 作为代词,找到前半句中和它对应的部分即可发现,that代指to last only a wash or two.
