Newton's law of motion:
1.A physical body will remain at rest,or continue to move at a constant velocity,unless an unbalanced net force acts upon it.
一切物体在没有受到外力所用的时候,总保持匀速直线运动状态或静止状态.
2.The net force on a body is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration.
物体的加速度(acceleration)跟物体所受的合外力(net force)成正比,跟物体的质量(mass)成反比.(加速度的方向跟合外力的方向相同.)
3.For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
两个物体之间的作用力和反作用力.(在同一条直线上,大小相等,方向相反).
First Law
If no net force acts on a particle,then it is possible to select a set of reference frames,called inertial reference frames,observed from which the particle moves without any change in velocity.
如果物体在不受外力的作用下,那么就能够找到一组参照系,叫做惯性参照系,此惯性参照系看物体是匀速直线运动或者静止的.
Second Law
Observed from an inertial reference frame,the net force on a particle is proportional to the time rate of change of its linear momentum:F = d[mv] / dt.Momentum is the product of mass and velocity.
从惯性参照系看,作用在物体上的外力与冲量的时间变化率成比例.冲量=质量×速度.
Third Law
Whenever a particle A exerts a force on another particle B,B simultaneously exerts a force on A with the same magnitude in the opposite direction.
当一个物体A对另一个物体B施加一个力,B也同样会对A施加同样大小反向的力.
