A中应该是打错了吧?from…… absent from sth.somewhere是缺席、不在的意思.但第二个空不对.问句中问的主语是number,而修饰number的形容词应该是大、小即big、large、samll、lillle之类的,不能用much.

这些考得其实都是一个内容,主从句的关系.把握住,连词连结的为从句,不管是主句还是从句都只能有一个谓语动词(当然用and等词并列的不算).
1.没有连词,只能有一个谓语动词,所以把 there is no further discuss中间的is->being做状语.
2.without为介词,后面的应该是相当于一个名词,类似于with sth to do的结构.但是不是考试的话,warming也是对的,意思相同.
3.when 这里有介词的意味,完整的句子为when the mountain is compared with .把主语和助动词省去.
