We were living in College Station, Texas and my wife and I were on our way home from Houston, Texas one Saturday morning. We still did not do anything, but someone else did. 其实did和have done都是对的,是你自己陷进了时态的死胡同,迷糊不定了
一般过去式强调陈述过去发生的动作或事实,而完成时偏重于过去发生的事情对现在产生的影响所以这个题两个都是可以的,只是偏重点略为不同,但是对题意没有影响.
这句话的意思是,我猜你当时肯定开得太快了
根据语境用过去进行时更为贴切,表示过去那段时间正在做某事,强调过程和状态
用一般过去式当然也是没有语法错误的,表示过去那段时间做了某件事情,强调事实和结果
