英语作文Saving The Face

On one Saturday,Mr Smith went fishing on a clear day.Unluckily,he caught nothing.When considering that her wife would laugh at him,he had to have a fish in order to save the face.
When passing by the fish shop,he came up with an idea that I can buy a fish for my wife.
On his way home ,he thought that she would be happy when his wife saw the fish.
Mr Smith was unlucky.He get a frozen fish from the fish shop,but he didin't know it.Giving his wife the fish,he was abused by his wife.The reason is simple.The fish is a frozen one.How he could get a frozen fish from the river.That's obviously impossible.
Then Mr Smith knows that Saving the face is a bad idea.Not only can it waste much money,but also it can't save the face anyway.
我又对文章做了以下的改动.
1,增添了买到冻鱼的经过,故事不显的的太唐突
2,化一个复合句为短句,因为之前文章符合句过多.
3,增添了一句议论,点出了要面子的危害.
4,词数扩充到了150词.
5,用了have ,get ,a bad idea,更符合英语规范,更有英语的味道.
