On a hot African morning On a hot African morning,Leila was lying on her stomach and an elephant was walking towards her.Leila waited. Then she pushed the button on her camera.“And I got my best photo of an elephant ever,by lying under my car,” Leila explained.“I wanted to get close to the elephants, but of course this wasf dangerous; they had their babies with them.So every morning I used to park my car in the open near the path (小道).They used to take the same path every morning when they left the water hole. After a week, they were used to seeing my car.So the next morning,I lay under it and got my photo!”
Many of the best wildlife photos come from good planning. In Africa, photographers set up their hides (隐匿处) near water holes. They also set up hides near forest paths,as animals use the same paths every night. For bird-watching,many lakes have hides.Inside the hides,bird-watchers can watch all day in the shade (荫处) out of the wind and rain.

70.Why did Leila lie under her car on the stomach?
A.Because she wanted to sleep.B.Because she wanted to take photos but was afraid of the animals.
C.Because it’s easy to see the elephants.D.Because it’s very comfortable.
71.How can photograpers take good photos?
A.By making good preparation.B.By going into the forest at night.
C.By walking around the holes.D.By going to the nearest lake.
72.Which of the following statements is right according to the passage?
A.All animals go to water holes at night.B.Lakes are good placesf for bird-watching.
C.Leila used her car to prevent the sunshine.D.Animaals pay no attention to photographers.
73.What can we know from the underlined sentence?
A.The successf rate of taking wildlife photos is 50% at most.
B.Photographers who take wildlife photos need more practice.
C.To take good wildlife photos is not difficult.
D.It’s hard to take good wildlife photos.

.,making him the first disabled athlete invited to such events.
the first disabled athlete invited

Some photes taken by African children.

What are on show in the museum?
Some photes was taken by African children.

Wow,your destination is such a briliant city that I feel a little envy~But you are right,Jo is both brilliant and dangerous. The most is potential or racial conflict. So you shouldn't express your opinion towards their situations to them.I don't know any about their customs either. But the motto "do in Rome as Romen does" never goes wrong. You said you would be both guard and guide for your manager, then you should do everything in advance(the hotel, the exhibition, the city's map...etc.).Don't be worry, your English is OK.You can prepare for your sentence earlier. In addition, the climate there is changable, make sure you have bring enough clothes.

Honey (蜂蜜) from the African forest is not only a kind of natural sugar,it is also delicious. Most
people, and many animals, like eating it.However, the only way for them to get that honey is to find a
wild bees' nest (巢) and take the honey from it.Often, these nests are high up in trees, and it is difficult
to find them.In parts of Africa, though, people and animals looking for honey have a strange and
unexpected helper一a little bird called a honey guide.
The honey guide does not actually like honey, but it does like the wax (蜂蜡) in the beehives (蜂房).
The little bird cannot reach this wax, which is deep inside the bees' nest. So,when it finds a suitable nest,
it looks for someone to help it.The honey guide gives a loud cry that attracts the attention of both passing
animals and people.Once it has their attention,it flies through the forest, waiting from time to time for the
curious animal or person as it leads them to the nest. When they finally arrive at the nest, the follower
reaches in to get at the delicious honey as the bird patiently waits and watches. Some of the honey, and
the wax, always falls to the ground, and this is when the honey guide takes its share.
Scientists do not know why the honey guide likes eating the wax,but it is very determined in its efforts
to get it.The birds seem to be able to smell wax from a long distance away. They will quickly arrive
whenever a beekeeper is taking honey from his beehives, and will even enter churches when beeswax
candles are being lit.
1.Why is it difficult to find a wild bees' nest?
A.It's small in size.
B.It's hidden in trees.
C.It's covered with wax.
D.It's hard to recognize.
2.What do the words "the follower" in Paragraph 2 refer to?
A.A bee.
B.A bird.
C.A honey seeker.
D.A beekeeper.
3.The honey guide is special in the way____________.
A.it gets its food
B.it goes to church
C.it sings in the forest
D.it reaches into bees' nests
4.What can be the best title for the text?

Kelly is an African
Kelly is an African elephant. Now she is 19 years old. She lives in the zoo. Kelly has produced more than
100 paintings since last year. She has made over $ 3,500 for the zoo. Zoo leaders say Kelly first showed the
art ability about 5 years ago. Zoo workers watched her make the marks in the sand with her trunk (象鼻) .
She rubbed out (抹去) the marks, then made the new ones. The zoo workers gave her brushes and paints.
Soon Kelly was painting pictures. Newspaper reporters wrote about Kelly, and then people went to buy her
pictures. And in this way she made a lot of money for the zoo by painting.
This is how Kelly does the painting. A zoo worker holds different color paints and Kelly touches the colors

actions should (be taken) to improve the life of african people
Should I do thay?Yes,you should.
You should eat it.
就是我们要用be taken 而不用 be took.

Arthur Robert Ashe Jr. was the first African-American player
Arthur Robert Ashe Jr. was the first African-American player to take part in the international sport of tennis at the highest level of the game. He was born on July 10, 1943.
When Arthur was 6, his mother died. Arthur, with his father and his brother, lived near a large park in Richmond, Virginia. His father was the manager of the park. He took care of the park and made sure everything was right.
Arthur was allowed to play in the park when he was seven years old. He was quite energetic. A swimming pool, tennis courts, and baseball diamonds (棒球场) were in the park. Arthur spent a lot of time playing there. He did well in sports, but he had never tried to play tennis.
He often watched the tennis players. Sometimes there were tennis lessons, and Arthur would watch even more carefully. The young man teaching the lessons noticed Arthur. His name was Ronald Charity.
Mr. Charity asked Arthur if he wanted to learn to play tennis. Arthur was excited and agreed. Arthur learned very quickly. Mr. Charity found Arthur would grow up to be a good tennis player. By the time he was ten, Arthur won a tournament (联赛). Many older and bigger players came to the park trying to win the prize, but Arthur beat them. He became known as “the kid who could play tennis”.
Arthur grew up to be one of the first successful African-American tennis players. He played and won all over the world.

1 Althea Gibson, the first African American tennis player (that they recognized as) a world champion, began playing amateur tennis in the 1940's.这是原题应该改为to be recognized as有两个疑问 首先为什么要用to be 第二as在这里的意思是作为吗我选择的是recognized because she was这个选项错在哪
2 After carefully studying both of the articals,Dr.Rodriguez and Nurse Alba found that the only difference between (them were their titles).原题 括号里应该改为the articles was their titles为什么这个their就不会引起歧义呢 这有俩人阿!
3 New York City is an important center of American Buddhism,in part because its residents (included) immigrants from most of the countries that have strong Buddhist traditions.
4 In addition to being a talented pianist and composer,Bela Bartok was a respected musicologist (who wrote) several books on Hungarian,Slocakian, and Romanian folk music.
5 Although he had never played organized sports, whenever Justin,(who was) uncommonly tall,(attends) a basketball game, fans would ask him for an autograph.

1.to be recognized as
缩略起来就是because its residents (that have strong Buddhist traditions) .
因为wrote several books on Hungarian,Slocakian, and Romanian folk music的不止Bela Bartok一个musicologist.

Elizabeth Freeman was born about 1742 to African American parents who were slaves. At the age of six months she was acquired, along with her sister, by John Ashley, a wealthy Massachusetts slaveholders. She became known as “Mumbet” or “Mum Bett.”
For nearly 30 years Mumbet served the Ashley family. One day, Ashley’s wife tried to strike Mumbet’s sister with a spade. Mumbet protected her sister and took the blow instead. Furious, she left the house and refused to come back. When the Ashleys tried to make her return, Mumbet consulted a lawyer, Theodore Sedgewick. With his help, Mumbet sued(起诉) for her freedom.
While serving the Ashleys, Mumbet had listened to many discussions of the new Massachusetts constitution. If the constitution said that all people were free and equal, then she thought it should apply to her. Eventually, Mumbet won her freedom---- the first slave in Massachusetts to do so under the new constitution.
Strangely enough, after the trial, the Ashleys asked Mumbet to come back and work for them as a paid employee. She declined and instead went to work for Segdewick. Mumbet died in 1829, but her legacy lived on in her many descendants(后裔). One of her great-grandchildren was W.E.B. Du Bois, one of the founder of the NAACP, and an important writer and spokesperson for African American civil rights.
Mumbet’s tombstone still stands in the Massachusetts cemetery where she was buried. It reads, in part: “She was born a slave and remained a slave and remained a slave for nearly thirty years. She could neither read nor write, yet in her own sphere she had no superior or equal.”
