Places change throughout periods of time. The culture, society, people etc... Our hometown is changing too. Half a century ago, pollution was not even mentioned, air quality was fresh and people were not coughing as hard. That was because cars on roads were less in quantity, and factories were not as much built yet.
Nowadays, we see that people walking around streets have a phone next to the ear, chatting with joy. However, 50 years ago only few people had them. Concluding them all, technology is a big change. They are more advanced and convinient.
