It was on National Day ()we met in the People’s Park.

It is(was)...

表示日期可以写in the july of 2009也可以写in july 2009

现在来看你的句子.st petersburg is very beautiful city.it was once called leningrad.
St petersburg ,which was once called Leningrad,is a very beautiful city.
the soldiers moved the boxes to a mine.they wanted to hide them.
The soldiers moved the boxes (that) they wanted to hide to a mine.
shananxi province is a place with many cultural relics.they are well looked after.
历史遗迹是普通名词,必用限定性从句.shananxi province is a place with many cultural relics which are well looked after.
here are the farmers.they discovered the underground city last month.
Here are the farmers who discovered the underground city last month.
