Lemuel Gulliver enjoyed travelling. He was a ship’s doctor. On May 4, 1699, they were going to the Far East in the ship called the Antelope. One night, his ship crashed against the rocks, Gulliver was washed to the land. He found himself a prisoner(囚犯)of tiny people. They were less than 6 inches tall and lived in the island country of Lilliput. After he promised to behave well, they set him free and he could visit the city. The people of Blefuscu wanted to attack Lilliput. The king of Lilliput turned to Gulliver. He stopped Blefuscu attacking Lilliput by pulling its ships to Lilliput. The king was happy. He wanted to make the people of Blefuscu his slaves(奴隶), so he asked Gulliver to bring some more ships. Gulliver did not like this plan. The king got angry. Some bad men in Lilliput wanted to kill Gulliver. Gulliver had to run away from Lilliput to Blefuscu.
He was welcomed by the king of Blefuscu. They soon became good friends. Three days after that , he asked king to send him twenty of his largest ships and two thousand men to pull the boat to the shore. In this boat, he set sail for England.
On the third day he saw a big ship to the southeast. He called out to the ship. The ship was moving very slowly. They raised a flag .His heart was full of happiness when he saw the English flag .

IN JONATHAN SWIFT’S 1726 novel,“Gulliver’s Travels”,the Yahoos are a degraded band of humanoids kept tethered in stalls by their equine captors.

kept tethered in stalls by their equine captors.这是过去分词短语作定语,修饰a degraded band of humanoids .
their equine captors kept a degraded band of humanoids tethered in stalls .
也可分开理解成:tether (sb./sth) in stalls (in stalls 就作地点状语) .

manage to do 指的是设法做某事且成功了,而句子后面有but failed,所以不选A

This summer holiday I read a book called “Gulliver’s Travel’s”.Its writer is Jonathan swift. The book tells us a story about Gulliver in Lilliput.Making my impression the deepest among them is uniting of Lilliput citizens.Their size only has the Gulliver twelfth. But they can move Gulliver’s body. Why?Because they are very united. In the process of moving Gulliver and make the clothes for Gulliver, they all go for help.Although they are very small, they still can do something for Gulliver and do it very well.I think the thing we can learn from Lilliput citizens is their solidarity.

第二行
Making my impression the deepest among them is uningting of liliput citizens .Their size only has the Gulliver twelfth改为 the deepest impression it made to me is the liliput‘s uniting, their size is only one twelfth of the guliver
why?because they are very united 中because改为for,一楼why 和because不能连用!
In the process of moving Gulliver and make the clothes for Gulliver把make改为making

Robinson Crusoe is not a perfect man.He also has shortcomings. He was such a coward when he encountered a storm the first time.He sweared and repented yet ate his words and sailed on after the storm.By showing Robinson’s shortcomings,Daniel Defoe made Robinson a real person. After all,no one is perfect.Robinson Crusoe can not only lead the ambitious ones to success, but also guide average people to face up to life. This is the significance of the study of Robinson Crusoe.
