绝句
中国诗体.又称截句、断句、绝诗.每首四句,通常有五言、七言两种.简称五绝、七绝,也偶有六绝.它源于汉及魏晋南北朝歌谣.“绝句”这一名称大约起于南朝.梁 、陈时,已较普遍地用绝句泛指四句短诗,其押韵平仄都较自由,或称古绝句.唐以后盛行近体绝句,格律同于八句律诗中的前、后或中间四句.所以,唐人有的在诗集中把绝句归于律诗.后来也有学者认为绝句是截于律诗之半而成.绝句灵活轻便,适于表现一瞬即逝的意念和感受,广为诗人所采用,创作之繁荣超过其他各体诗.宋代洪迈曾辑录唐人绝句万首,约占现存唐诗总数1／5.除李白、王昌龄、杜牧、李商隐以绝句擅长外,还有不少千古名篇,并不一定出自名家之手.另外,唐人绝句大都配乐歌唱,如王维《渭城曲》、李白《清平调》、刘禹锡和白居易的《竹枝词》、《杨柳枝》等,所以,绝句也被人视作唐人乐府.
