wanted to grow very big.His life was very good but he did not care
about that.He wanted to become a gigantic mast or a christmas
tree.One day,he really became a christmas tree.He was very happy
but then people put him into a dark room.He was lonely and he
wanted to grow in the forest.He regretted because the air and the
sunshine told him he should enjoy his life.
At last,the gardener chopped him
into many pieces.
The small fir tree should enjoy
everything when he was in the forest.When he was in the forest,he
was sad and he wanted to be everything.He did not care about the
air and the sunshines advice.He would regret afer all.He was
jealous of the other trees life so we shouldnt learn from him.We
should listen to other people advice.For
example,aflockmaster found a sheep was gone.
Some neighbors told him he should fix the hole because he found a
hole in his sheepfold.But he did not care about his neighbors.The
next morning,he found another sheep was gone.he regretted and he
fixed the hole immediately.He had never lost his sheep after he
fixed the hole.Here is another example,one day,I
had a fever.My mother told meI should wear more
clothes andI wore lots of clothes.It was a cold
day butI didnt fall cold.At
last,I felt very well.I was
grateful to my mother.

1.第一句的not 是并列否定词,等于 they can not get any money from me before I die.
2.before I die.是时间状语从句,用一般时表将来.
before the relatives have been told.还是时间状语从句,用现在完成时表将来完成的动作.
例句： It will be two years before we meet again. 要过两年我们才能再见.
You can't go out to play before you have finished your homework.要等到你做完作业才能出去玩.

Every girl can be a princess,even though she lives in a low attic,even though she is in shabby clothes,even though she is not beautiful,nevertheless,she can be a real princess at heart.
A Little Princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist.It obviously contains lots of fancied plots,but the parts it talks about creating miracles,can really reach the bottom of my heart.The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it.The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.
In my opinion,it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess,but Sara,the heroine of the novel,did it!She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners.Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle,appreciative ways of saying,such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming.So,not only her teachers and classmates liked her,but also her servants liked her.There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school.In spite of this,she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured.Sara was confident,brave,optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life.No matter when,Sara acted like a princess,and on account of this,she had accomplished a GREat deal of miracles over and over again.
After reading this outstanding book,I was shocked by Sara,a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures,but still had an opposite attitude towards life.What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes,wading in the street of London.From my point of view,her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.
Truly,every girl is a princess coming into common life.the “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye.As the matter of fact,the “princess” is at heart.I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess.The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple.Just suppose!You can suppose yourself to be a princess,and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you.If you want to have more resemblance to a princess,be more kind and try your best to help the people in need.The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion,particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy.Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness.The less you look like a princess,the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.
Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned,no matter she is rich,beautiful or not.To speak truthfully,I cannot do as well as Sara.However,I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.
Do not feel depressed any more,to be a well-thought-of princess like Sara.You can do it,because Every Girl Can Be A princess.

People always like to compare with their friends. It is a big foible of all the people. If other people have a lot of money, we also want to be rich. If all the people around us are poor , we never mind that we are very poor, too. we will not ashamed because of our folly. This is a social problem.
If we never possess anything, we will not mind we lost some thing. Since we don’t want to be very rich ,we will not feel despond because poor.
The protagonist of this novel is Pip (Handel). His parents died when he was a baby. His sister had brought him up ‘by hand’. His sister married to Joe Gargery, the village blacksmith. They didn’t have much money, and Pip never went to school to study. But he was often very happy .Because all of his friends are like him. It isn’t very unfortunate to them, this is their lives. But by a chance, Pip helped a convict; he gave much food to him. Then he met Miss Havisham, a very strange old woman and she was very rich.
Four years later, Miss Havisham wants Pip to be removed from his home and educated as a gentleman who expects inherit a fortune when he grow up.
After hearing that . Pip started to despise his poor friends. He even feel ashamed because he live with the poor man . Pip’s ‘great expectations’ destroyed his life.
This novel told us that we cannot compare with others .Don’t feel envy at the others money. And if one day you be very rich , please don’t despise your poor friends.

The Merchant of Venice "Book
Used to see Shakespeare's tragedy,I occasionally change stomach,to appreciate what he has written comedy,but also quite tasty.Last week,I read books written by Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" and I feel that the value of friendship.Hero Antonio Basaniao young people between the nobility and the sincere friendship,to face the test of life and death,their friendship appears to be more selfless."The Merchant of Venice" and other Shakespeare plays,the performance of his life's love,and longing for youth.I think this script interesting twists and turns of the plot,filled with a very strong comedy,but also reflects the life of Shakespeare himself optimistic,cheerful character.There is a play not only hateful but also people's sympathy for the characters,he called Shylock is a Jew,the loan-sharking.He inexcusable insatiable,but he is also a subject of discrimination against Jews.He plays on behalf of oppressed Jews,said the passage has been memorable to me:"Jews do not have eyes,no limbs,facial features,there is no perception,no feelings,no blood?He is not eating the same food,can be subject to the same weapon injury ,Also needs medical treatment,will find the winter cold,summer heat will feel,with the same Christian?"He was a suffering nation to issue unfairness of the call.I prefer that Baoxi Ya.Her elegant noble,sentimental tenderness,a high degree of intelligence,wit the courage to plunge into the decisive action of their own actions prove that poor women than men.The writing was a businessman living in Venice,where the true story of the human family and friendship than anything else,this book was written out of our friend deal with the right attitude.Can not think of Shakespeare's comedy writing is so interesting.

我推荐你用《纵横英语》,不过要每天坚持做两篇,做完后要看后面的解释,然后分析一下,保证你一个月就见效果.

我老师推荐过这本书,还有一本是《企鹅英语》,对学英语很有帮助的

《书虫》真的不错,是中英双语的,一页中文,一页英文的,里面的故事相当于短篇小说或者中篇小说,有的是外国的奇人奇事,也有一些是外国的著名小说,总之,书虫是一个统称,或者说一个系列吧,不是一本书的名字,它的每一本书都只有一个故事,当然,书是比较薄的啦,总之还挺好的,我记得小学的时候好像看过一本,里面的故事,有点类似于夜半歌声的那种,还有一本里面是讲的一直义狗,都不记得名字了

简单化了,经过改编在基本框架上保留部分原文,剩下的都是缩写后的内容,基本和原文成20比1的比例缩的,所以原文的精彩无法真正呈现,你所能看到的只是部分精彩段落和故事梗概,其实,西方文学精彩之处在于它精妙的叙述方式,以及华丽的内心独白,这些是在书虫中感受不到的,但是,这是因为书虫的读者群,接受者问题,它属于面向英语基础学习者提高阅读能力要求的读者.

这个,《书虫》的话是一个系列丛书,它有很多本.它的可贵之处在于把外国的经典名著重新演绎一遍,变成通俗易懂但不失韵味的文章,这样便于初学者们品味原著.初一的话,可能看起来有些困难.初三看挺好.初一的话可以买几本《英语广场》看看,有图,有注释,生动有趣,挺好的.

《书虫》这个系列的书都挺好的（鲁宾孙漂流记,风中奇缘,亡灵岛都挺好看的）,我读初中是老师也叫我们看的,我们当时也有整理,看久了对你的阅读能力会有所提高.估计这是你们暑假作业吧.
我的建议是：①如果条件允许,建议去书店买来看
②还可以去图书馆借来
只有好词好句嘛,这个只是老师要看你有没有读书.如果你急着赶作业,那就随便从书上抄抄,一段都有N句了；词语,那本书的最后一面上都有.
