我是英语专业,就我了解的情况来看,在表达上,英式英语更加繁琐,也就是我们常说的比较复杂,而美式英语却相对来说比较随意；
因为英国人本来就比较严谨,所以在英式英语的结构上,较美式会显得更加严谨,紧凑,而美式英语中英语结构比较随意,往往没有一个固定的条框来规定；在口语上,英式英语几乎没有翘舌.比如我们常会遇到的"hard",在英式英语中,音标里的r翘舌很不明显,几乎没有翘舌,但是在美式中,翘舌就很突出.而且这个也是区分一个人的英语口音是英式还是美式的最大的一个区别.
