这种翻译不能说对于不对,只是联系前后,看感觉.
感觉字幕翻译不是很好,楼主理解的非常到位,不过有work 不一定翻译出"工作",可以直接翻译成对自己,我们不能停止对自己的提升,改造.

这个句子其实要分开来理解,whatever the result is 可以直接翻译为“无论结果
如何”,但是也可以理解为“任何结果”,在句子里可以作为那个“结果”的代名
词,这样理解的话,句子里第二个 "is" 才是动词,所以句子并没有错.
