在表示人的缺点,设计制造方面的“缺点、缺陷”,两者应当没有区别.
正如,中文的“缺点" 与”缺陷“ 有什么区别呢?
但 defect = deficiency = fault = shortcoming 缺点、缺陷.
如果表示 “缺少、不足、缺乏” = shortfall/ shortage/ lack 时,只可用 deficiency.
