After having finished his homework.不可以去掉having,这是动名词的完成形式作介词宾语,但也可以用动名词的一般形式finishing作介词宾语
We can't continue walking any further.walk
加ing是动名词作宾语
其实这里continue walking =continue to walk简明英汉词典p199
当然还有一种解释前者强调的是连续不断地持续走
后者强调的是接着走
不过我认为意思差不多,
这与go on doing 与go on to do的区别不一样.
