1.Intercultural adaptability is a broad term that encompasses speaking and listening skills as well as the ability to interpret behavior in different cultural contexts and apply social or experiential learning in new cultural contexts.As a result,intercultural adaptability has become necessary for survival not only in international business transactions but also in interpreting international events and media transmissions.
2.Cooperation is the process of working or acting together,which can be accomplished by both intentional and non-intentional agents.In its simplest form it involves things working in harmony,side by side,while in its more complicated forms,it can involve something as complex as the inner workings of a human being or even the social patterns of a nation.It is the alternative to working separately in competition.Cooperation can also be accomplished by computers,which can handle shared resources simultaneously,while sharing processor time.
3.Planning and organizaing :This competency is about how well you manage resources and tasks.
You define your ability to complete tasks on time and to a good standard,taking into account changing priorities and deadlines.
You explore how well you track progress against targets.
Level 1:Organising Routine Tasks
Determines tasks and arranges them in logical sequence with a timetable; is punctual for appointments; completes activities in an accurate and timely manner.
Level 2:Operating Efficiently
takes time to plan on a regular basis; prioritises work according to the organisation’s needs; handles interruptions and avoids being distracted by irrelevant tasks or irrelevant detail; makes full use of available support technology
Level 3:Operating Efficiently and Effectively
uses time and resources effectively,with the overall results in mind; considers and chooses between alternative methods of achieving desired results; manages conflicting and changing priorities; balances one-time tasks with on-going administrative work; questions whether a task would be more appropriately handled by someone else.
Level 4：Making Contingency Plans and Monitoring Performance
anticipates potential barriers and constraints,and acts to overcome or minimise these; regularly reviews progress against plan and takes corrective action when required; seeks to adjust actions rather than targets; forewarns others of possible delays.
Level 5:Project Management
successfully plans and manages major tasks or projects; effectively organises and coordinates all the people and resources involved; develops milestones; plans to manage risk and overcome anticipated weaknesses and threats to successful achievement.
