The Importance of Name
Recently,it is universally acknowledged that due attention has to be paid to the importance of name.To begin with,a large number of people assert that one’s name can exert profound influence on the success of a person or institution.In addition,some even maintain that the mental health and physical fitness of a person will be influenced or even determined by his or her name.
On the contrary,it is the view of a great many people that one’s name is of little significance.I can think of no better illustration than the following ones.“Qiu”,which means “hill”,is the name of Confucius,the greatest thinker,philosopher and educator throughtout history.Likewise,another case in point is Lao Zi,the founder of philosophical and religious Taoism,whose name is “er”,which means “the ear”.These examples effectively clarify that one’s future is only determined by his striving spirit,talent or intelligence rather than some mysterious and superstitious factors such as certain names or lucky numbers.
As for me,significance should be attached to intelligence,persistence and diligence instead of one’s name.Given all the above arguments,it is high time that we put an end to this undesirable phenomenon.

On the Importance of a Name
There is no denying the fact that it is a controversial topic whether names are important or not.Some hold the positive view.They claim that a good name,or a name that can be easily remembered,can bring one a lot more opportunities than others.Some Chinese may also believe that a name designed according to the traditional theory of five elements can bring good luck.
Others,however,hold the opposite view.They argue that a name is nothing but a code to distinguish one from another.A person “good” name may not be as successful as the name indicates.In the same way,a person who has a common or casually given name can also achieve tremendous success.
Personally,I believe that both sides have something right,so we should not go to extremes.On the one hand,we have to admit that a well designed name can help a person to some extent.On the other hand,we should not exaggerate the effect of a name on a person’s fate.Anyway,a person’s success mainly depends on his hard work and desirable personalities.

过是必然的了,只是分数问题,不用太计较,况且大家都没批过英语六级让大家给及估出的分数也是个大概,要精确的只有等成绩单了.要是成绩发下来不满意还可以再考嘛,不应太担心的!

A child’s world is supposed to be fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. Unfortunately, this is not the case for some kids, especially for those born and bred in cities --- their joys are dimmed and even lost because a majority of them are forced to attend various art classes.
Some claim that it is beneficial for children’s development. They might have their reasons because most parents are convinced that their kids are gifted gifts from the god. They presume that the earlier their children are exposed to arts, the more likely it is to find out the artistic potential hidden in them. Even if their children fail to become another child prodigy like Lang Lang or Li Yundi, the interests in arts, say, in music, cultivated in childhood will be of great value in their whole life.
In spite of the possible benefits mentioned, I, like others, am strongly against it. The major harm is that it might deprive children of their pleasure to play after school. Faced with competition and contest for better universities, most children are buried in piles of homework. Forcing them to art classes will leave them less time to enjoy the beauty of the nature or to find their talent in things they are really interested in.
To sum up, childhood is a time for children to play as they wish. Rather than cramming knowledge, it is more important to pave the way for their desire to know than to put them on a diet of facts they are not ready to assimilate

With the development of society and economy and the improvement of people's living standard, nowadays many parents sent their kids to study art classes. There is a growing concern over this matter among the general public. An argument accordingly arose, that is, should parents send their kids to art classes?
Some believe that parents sent their kids to study art not only can broaden their horizons but also enable their abilities to acquire a lot of knowledges. 去年 我听力保守 估计 选择 13个填词 5个 最后才拿了个125.我到想问下6个选项7个单词怎么能拿来130的?别傻呼呼拿王长喜那瞎算一通,就以为 对了,他那上说听力一个不对都能拿100呢.而事实中听力得90多的甚至70多分的 我见的多了.
网上的算分方法 只能简单的参考一下,算分系统很复杂的.

我也是这个水平啊,就看实际分数准不准确了,耐心看下 评分标准,自己算下,心里有底一点的~拭目以待 六级分数~

作文 中等偏上的话有60-70分听力对11个是129.5分阅读选择题1个算2个总共是21个,161分完形2个算一个,完形加翻译是9个,76.5分这样加起来就有427-437了 best wishes !其中阅读和听力部分,卷面分的满分都是35分,所以都采...

我也做B卷的,我发现阅读理解顺序确实有问题,我做的试卷仔细阅读的第一篇是关于海龟的,第二篇是关于大学教育的.和A卷的顺序一样……可是按理说来,顺序应该是先大学教育,然后是海龟保护的,而且其他做B卷的同学也是符合这个顺序的,就我,特别奇怪……

25,30分左右吧；有点低,可能过不了.不过得看别人考得好不好了,如果别人也不怎么样的话,应该能过线.

前30天 一定要单词、语法每天都学； 然后10天 天天阅读； 最后10天 每天都一套模拟题； 这个我试过很好使 我那时候才38天就见效了

没有这个规定.但是适当写些复合句是作文中的亮点,这是得分的方法之一；另外要注意替代词的使用,例如我认为再写“i think”就不如“i maitain”或“i propose”更容易得分.总之要“像”一个六级的水平.至于有没有没人会关心的.要背些范文、句式.

8+12+3+句子算1+3+14+翻译+5+作文9=55+翻译 算58的话 估计能得400~430 感觉有难度 除非你作文很好 然后听力句子多点分 就可以过 .说得老实话,我感觉百分之30过 百分之70不过.但分数在400多.

假设你的短句对两个,作文得11分,最后得分437,还是比较稳当的过!

我觉得有点悬,你的仔细阅读选择部分答得太少,那部分一个14.2分呢,不过希望你能过,

阅读是168分,听力是 154—161左右,完型是49.这样你的总分：168+154+49+105=476.

貌似有点危险啊!因为六级大部分的分数都在阅读和听力上,你的听力对的不是很多啊,要想过起码要一半以上啊,因为你阅读考得也不是很好,而且作文你又不能保证达到100多分,有点困难啊想过的话! 呵呵. 还是祝你好运!不要太担心了!

听力:16+3*0.5+1*2=19.5.换算为:157.5
阅读:8*1+4*1+5*2=22
换算为:164
填空和翻译:2.5*1+2*1=4.5

根据我的经验来看,一般听力和阅读做的好的话,就可以过了.说实话,作文阿,完形阿,翻译阿.占不了多少分的,感觉改的满随意的.
你的这个情况有点悬~没关系.下次努力啦.
我都考过5,6回了.唉.别担心,再说,也就是一次考试而已,也没有什么大不了的.以后的人生还长着呢,能力最重要.加油.

应该差不多的,你可以找个算分器算算,但是算过后要减去一些.比如我去年用星火计分器算得了430多分,结果成绩单上市390多.

听力做的有点差啊~不知道你复合式听写句子怎样~听力估计是100分左右,阅读在180左右,综合50分左右吧,你也没说你作文写的怎么样,这样加起来肯能400左右,有可能过而已~就是那个边缘上

恭喜楼主了,这次肯定过的了,你的听力和阅读做的都挺不错的.从总体上来说,比我上次考六级时的答题情况稍微好一些,如果作文和我的88分差不多的话,你应该可以拿到480分了,
