However,there are some possible solutions for the difficulties.Firstly,find common grounds for the effective team building and we can use the common grounds as foundation/backbone for the team.For instance,If English and mathematics are something that all members share in common,approach work using English and mathematics as foundation perhaps is the first step.Secondly,avoid focusing on member’s background too heavily,as this may promote ethical egoism that undermines a team's cohesion.Accept different approaches to work as it will certainly result from different backgrounds of every member.Place more emphasis on the result,but stress less on the methodology,be tolerant and accepting.Thirdly,idiosyncratic features of every member should be exploited.Does one member have a potential strength the others don't as a result of their ethnicity?This could be found in their ethnic understanding and cultural connections by establishing a sensitivity training,which would promote better understanding among each of the team.Last but not the least,the sensitivity training develops trust among members by allowing each member to share their unique experiences for others to cherish.From a psychology perspective,trust emerges when everyone shares a piece of their identity with others.As a vice president who operates the team in the long run,I would like to implement all these solutions since they are all good solutions and don’t have conflict while taking actions at the same period.
