In present age,wherever you go is saturated with advertising pattern.There appears many kinds of models to advertisement which are able to have one aim- promotion.But in the meantime,a heated debate has been ignited that whether the present-day mounting consuming volume is mainly due to the power of advertisement.In this essay,I would attempt to present both sides of this argument in order to establish my position on this issue.
As I see it,it can be argued that advertisement significantly affects people’s decision on several relative extents when buying goods.First and foremost,just as visual advertising,it can create a sense of reliability as people cannot indentify which sort of products could be worthwhile and reasonable to choose.Secondly,there are vast amounts of advertising funding is being disbursed by many companies,thereby enhancing the quality of the advertisement.So that it is far more likely to catch individual’s eyes and tempt them to buy without any hesitation.In addition,to better understand an unfamiliar product,most people tend to base on the exterior content of advertising.Some times they buy goods virtually due to some celebrities appearing in the advertisement.
However,there exists ample evidence against these arguments.Currently,advertising are far less likely to dominate human’s mind.Because it is people’s own thought that they actually have their personal habits and preference.For instance,a person who is very wealthy may buy goods himself or herself.
To sum up,since clients have their own thought to decide what should buy,it is people’s independent choice rather than how much influence advertising can exert.Personally,it is difficult to say everyone is impacted by advertising.
