Dear Betty,
Yesterday my roommate invite me to celebrate Thanksgiving
Day with him in her house. I accepted his invitation, but as you know,
the social customs in my country is quite different from those here.
I am a little nervous now. I’m worried about make mistakes and
losing faces before many people, too.
Should I bring a gift, such as candy or flowers? But should
I arrive at on time or a little late? At the dinner table, how can I
know which fork or knife to use? How can I let a family know
that I’m thankfully for their kindness?
I really find hard to decide, please help me.

Dear Betty,I hope you’re well. I’m on holiday in London with Dear Betty, I hope you’re well. I’m on holiday in London with my friend Jenny. We arrived by plane on Monday and took a taxi to our hotel. I went for a walk in Hyde Park but Jenny didn’t come with me because she was tired. Then on Tuesday we saw the clock, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace. Queen Elizabeth lives in the Palace, but we didn’t see her! I bought some presents but Jenny didn’t buy anything! The next day we visited the British Museum and had dinner in a Chinese restaurant!
