S.H.E.是三个人的英文名：Selina、Hebe和Ella的第一个英文字母组合而成，恰好与与英文的她“SHE”一样。天赋的好嗓音和独特的个人风格她们最大的武器。再秘密培训中，来自于不同地方的S.H.E.，刚开始相处时可以用无话可说来形容，让唱片公司不得不开始担心。于是为了增加三人的团体性，将三人安排在只有一个房间的宿舍，藉这样的安排培养彼此的默契，并增加她们的团结性。因此S.H.E.在出道前训练一年的时间再加上合宿三个月的时间，三人便也培养出姐妹妹般的情谊。
