前阵子Lenovo在台湾宣布一系列新品，并且主打触控设计，其中有一款搭载Corei处理器的ThinkPadHelix混合式商务平板笔电，以平板搭配基座的二合一概念显得与其他机种不同，这次也像Lenovo借到这款产品进行测试，跳转继续。 这台产品由于推出时是处于核心处理器平台交替的时间点，仍是采用第三代CoreiIvyBridge平台，在效能与续行表现方面显得较为劣势，且IvyBridge平台Ultrabook的效能大致如此，故笔者这次就跳过效能测试，单纯就产品本身的独特性进行评侧。 Helix的主体是一台平板电脑，设计方面保留ThinkPad的日式餐盒涂装，由于采用的是标准的Corei平台，仍免不了需要搭载主动散热设计，Helix则是选择将主要散热孔配置在机顶。 如同前身ThinkPadX220Tablet等机种一样，Helix也搭载电磁式触控笔，可直接收纳在机身上；搭载电磁笔除了可以进行精确的感压绘图应用外，以商务机而言亦可搭配电子签章软体作特殊应用。 当然这张11.6吋FullHD的萤幕也不可能仅搭载电磁感应技术，也拥有近期常见的10指电容感应，可直接用手进行触控。当然对于Windows8推出后所规划的多数笔电，多半也为了考虑动态砖模式提供触控功能，更不用说Helix原本就是一款以平板电脑为主的产物。 至于机身下方除了散热孔外，则有着可以放置SIM卡插槽的地方以及一个miniDisplayPort与一个USB2.0插槽，充电插槽为Lenovo新一代的长方形插槽，机身侧面有着调整音量的设计。当然机背的ThinkPad字样的i字，也延续ThinkPad系列的传统拥有状态提示闪烁灯的机能。 Helix在台湾只有单一硬体版本，采用IvyBridge平台的Corei7-3667U搭配8GBRAM，储存空间为256GBmSATASSD作为储存，考虑到重量，平板机身主体上搭配的是3Cell电池，将机身重量控制在785克，厚度亦仅有11.6公分。 至于底座部分采用Lenovo新一代ThinkPad常见的孤岛式键盘，中央也提供中原一点红触控点与下方大面积触控板，由于关键组件都在平板主体上，故平板模组的厚度相当薄，最薄处仅有0.75mm，由于机身主要I/O集中在后方，故与平板组合后阖上后的厚度就与后方一样是20.4mm，而平板部分则提供4Cell电池，与平板组合后为1.6公斤。 机身后方为两个USB3.0、DisplayPort输出与电源插槽，这也是因为底座侧面厚度不易配置这些全尺寸的I/O故全部集中到后方；至于与平板连接处的盖子下也是这个底座独到的地方，先前有提到平板本体的散热孔集中在底部，也就是与底座组合的地方，掀开这个盖子就可看到有两个风扇辅助本体进行散热。 虽然说Helix采用平板搭配底座的组合式设计，不过笔者认为它的设计与血脉与ThinkPadTwist、ThinkPadX220Tablet等有着相似的理念，笔者个人觉得可说是延续早期WindowsTablet的全新诠释方式。 会让笔者有这样的感觉，是因为Helix的三加一种使用模式之故，除了当成平板使用外，Helix可像一般电脑般的与底座组合，但若需要平板模式可是需要更强的续航力，又可将平板模组反插，就宛如早期的WindowsTabletPC一样使用，或是把底座当成立架使用将平板主体直立起来。 这三加一个模式扣除平板模式外，与先前的X220Tablet或是Twist的转轴所能提供的模式几乎如出一辙，但由于平板主体设计的关系，也让先前需要此种商务平板设计的使用者多了一个能轻松携带的模式。 Lenovo也针对Helix在不同的情境下制定不同的处理器运作模式，在独立平板模式与结合基座的平板模式下考虑到续航与发热，会借由限制时脉的方式减少发热，而呈现传统笔电的模式则会提供较高的效能，同时也借由风扇辅助散热，提供此种使用情境更好的稳定性。 也由于这层特殊设计，Helix在平板模式下相对省电，而笔电模式由于效能解放反而耗电量变高，官方给的数据光是3Cell的平板主体可提供约5.6小时续航力，但多了4Cell的笔电模式也仅提升到9小时续航力，不过以使用情境而言是可以理解的，笔者实际使用在笔电模式下进行上网与文书的续航力约7小时。 虽说Helix已经导入IvBridge的低电压处理器，并且针对平板模式以限制效能的方式减少发热，然而若真的以平板模式进行较繁杂的作业如照片转档等，机身的发热程度仍不适合手持，不过就微软与Intel对此二合一产品的定义，在平板模式下就乖乖的进行网路浏览就好，真要使用复杂的工作还是以拥有主动散热辅助的笔电模式。 笔者认为，这款产品仍是以商务人士应用为导向，故也反应在产品价格上，否则以IvyBridge平台产品目前的情况应该是开始进行出清，若非商务人士有相似应用需求也有其它较平价的产品可选，然而以商务应用而言Helix恐怕仍少有相近质性的竞品。 不过由于基于Ultrabook结构，相较更早期的ThinkPadX220Tablet的可换电池结构，虽然共7Cell电池亦能提供不错的续航力，但若需要更强续航力的使用者则无法透过更换大容量电池获得更好的续航力，当然这是比较吹毛求疵的比较基准，Helix平板搭配底座的续航力也是足够一般一日的使用情境，真的要说关键问题，恐怕就是推出的时间点略为尴尬。
