Yeh（中国台湾科学院地球科学研究所，台北南康1-55信箱）摘要　为说明历史地震与伴同地震发生的断层之间的关系，对有关地震数据予以了重新研究。利用蒙特卡洛算法，根据仪器记录的历史地震的P-S波走时差——对缺乏现有地震记录的历史地震的震源参数予以重建。将等震线图和地表断层轨迹与重新定位的震中作一比较，可以发现这一研究结果要比以前的更为合理。本次研究得出的主要结论为：①在台湾西部海岸平原和山前有4条地震破裂带，另4条地震破裂带则出现在台湾东部的纵谷；②各种特征表明，池上断层和奇美断层在地震时活化，但在以前从未报道过；③1935年地震时的新港山断层和1972年地震时的瑞穗断层不是地震的地表破裂痕迹，而是地震引起的滑坡；④根据这些地震断层的应力分析认为，主压应力轴为北西－南东向。关键词　历史地震　蒙特卡洛算法　重新定位　断层面解　台湾1　引言台湾历史上大地震期间引起地表破裂的活断层均位于台湾西部海岸平原和丘陵地带以及台湾东部花莲和台东纵谷。在中央山脉，无论是用地表勘查还是地球物理探测方法尚没有发现一条活断层[2,6,19]。台湾东、西部之间的地震断层的产状有所不同，台湾东部以左旋滑动和北北西走向为主，而台湾西部则主要为右旋滑动和北东东走向。台湾的历史断层，尤其是东部的，被认为与西太平洋的区域构造史，特别是与菲律宾海板块和欧亚板块之间的相互作用密切相关[19]。2　分析台湾地震的仪器观测始于1897年，其时第一台地震仪安装于台北气象台。尔后，其他各类地震仪安装于其他气象台；遍布台湾形成地震台网。由于1898～1972年期间缺乏独立的走时系统，定位过程中只能采用P-S波走时差，震中和震源深度采用P-S波等，走时图予以估算。虽然结果的误差要大于1973年后的，但在当时数据质量和地震仪的条件下采用这种方法还是较佳的选择。探测的结果仍有其实用性。但是对某些大地震而言，震中和地表断层间的偏差太大，所以在研究地震活动、地震构造以及地震预报与地震危险性分析时不能忽略这一问题，必须重新估算历史地震断层。因此，利用蒙特卡洛算法，根据P-S波走时差来重新定位仪器记录的历史地震[9]。反演的结果结合地质资料（例如走向、倾斜和地表断层位错）和P波初动的极性以估算可能的断层面解[3,9,12]。本研究中要评价的参数是震源的纬度、经度和深度。由等震线图和地表断裂的分布，用一些先验资料来限定震中参数分布范围。用观测到的P-S波走时差数据[1,7,8]和地壳速度模型[10]来计算地震走时。3　结果和讨论1906～1972年期间台湾有6次大地震，地震时产生的断裂活动将地面错开，位移量达1～3m。4条破裂出现于台湾西部海岸平原和山前地带；另4条出现于台湾东部纵谷。有一些不太肯定的证据表明，断层上曾有蠕变发生，但据1975年以来的测量工作，尚未报道发生过蠕变。以下按地震发生的年代顺序对断裂予以描述。3.1　1906年3月17日地震台湾西部梅山附近的地表断裂与1906年3月17日M=7.1的地震有关，有1258人丧生，房屋倒塌6000所以上。断层整体上走向为NE80°，但向西其走向则为NE50°并延伸至民雄附近。断层迹线在1906年填图时未全部查出，它由新港延伸至梅山和塔户，长约13km，是—右旋滑动断层。这个断层造成一断崖，截断阶地沉积层最大位移（右旋走向滑动）近断层东端为2.4m，断层东端还有一1.2m的垂向位移。在此处和断层西南，断层北侧相对下降，但此点东北的短断层段上，断层南侧相对下降。靠近东北端，最大垂向位移为2.1m，兼有1.8m的右向滑动。梅山附近，1996年仍可见到部分1906年的断崖，但由于挖掘，仅存1906年断崖高度的一半[8]。经再定位，震中位于23.585°N和120.535°E，震源深度为15km。这次地震与走向为NE80°的右旋走向滑动有关。如由梅山地区地表来估计，断层倾伏角约为－144°。假设倾角正如地球物理学家所提的那样为90°，则断层面解可得应力轴为131°∠25°。这次地震的最大压应力轴为北西－南东向，这与区域构造应力相符[13]。3.2　1935年4月21日地震地表破裂出现于台湾西北部两条断层上，伴随着地震发生，丧生者达3000余人，房屋倒塌17000所以上。断层分别称为狮潭断层和屯子脚断层。狮潭断层位于苗栗以东，于1935年4月21日地震期间形成。狮潭断层或北部断层上的地表破裂长达15km，其北段5km由小段断续破裂组成。断层倾角为80°W，为逆掩断层，西侧抬升较东侧高出3m，该断层某些部位具小的右旋滑动分量。几乎沿整条断层，狮潭地震断层相互平行，但位于狮潭断层东0.5km处；仅北段1.5km与地图上的断层近于一致。该区的褶皱由北东向的具轴向逆断层的背斜和向斜组成。狮潭破裂的逆掩性质与形成屯子脚断层的应力场相一致，表明两者的破裂均由深部构造应力形成[2]。南面的破裂称为屯子脚断层，延伸约12km，由一系列长度不同的雁行式破裂组成，右旋滑动约为1.5m，垂向位移约1m，除东北端1km地段外，西北侧总体下陷，东南侧则比较低。该断层是一右旋滑动断层，走向NE60°，全长约20km。最大水平和垂向位移分别为200cm和60cm，切穿阶地沉积和冲积层[2]。第二次地震的震中位于24.600°N和120.900°E，深2km，可能与狮潭断层的破碎有关，断层是一逆掩断层，走向为NE67°，倾角为SE85°，倾伏角90°。断层面解表明应力轴为112°∠8°。第一次地震重新定位于24.600°N和120.900°E，深5km，可能与屯子脚断层破裂有关，为一右旋走滑断层，走向NE23°，倾角NW50°，倾伏角80°。断层面解表明应力轴为112°∠5°。这两次地震的最大压应力轴为北西－南东向，这与区域构造应力方向一致[13]。3.3　1946年12月5日地震1946年的断裂活动出现在台南北东约10km的海岸平原和山前地带，伴随6.1级地震有74人丧生，毁坏房屋3577所。断层显示为右旋滑动，其东南侧相对下降，那里有确切而又清楚的痕迹。断层的类型定为右旋凹型弧转换断层。在该处最大右向滑动达2m，最大倾向滑动达0.76m。确切而又清楚的地表破裂至少延伸6km，走向为NE80°，而断层全长地表迹线为12km。全新世台南建造被错断。地表断层南西延伸约6km的一个线状带内发现雁行式裂隙和翘曲群以及小的垂向位移。震中位于23.075°N和120.325°E，深5km。这次地震与右旋走滑断层有关，走向NE80°。如从露头的断层擦痕面估算，平均倾伏角约－152°。假定倾角是直立的，如地球物理学家所提出的为90°，断层面解表明，应力轴为129°∠20°，这次地震的最大压应力轴为北西－南东向，与区域构造应力方向一致[13]。3.4　1951年10月22日地震这次地震，地表破裂出现在花莲附近的美伦断层，它与7.1级地震有关，丧生者45人，房屋倒塌522所。断裂长度5～7km不等，可认为是最小值，因为其北端延伸至海下。第一次地震发生于1951年10月22日5时34分，在花莲以东，伴随地表的破裂，6小时后花莲以北不远处发生另一次地震（11:29）。这些地表断裂靠近美伦断层。报道的最大位移是在断层的东南侧，滑动量为2m，抬升1.2m。断层的产状测自民尼里，垂向位移测自七星潭断层北端[5,14]。经再定位，第二次地震（11∶29）的震中位于24.075°N和121.725°E，深度为1km，地震与美伦断层破裂有关，为一具逆掩断层分量的左旋走向滑动断层，走向为NE25°，倾角为SE85°，倾伏角为73°。断层面解表明应力轴为130°∠38°[18]。经再定位，第一次地震（05∶34）位于23.875°N和121.725°E，震源深度为4km。地震与具逆掩断层分量的左旋走向滑动断层有关，走向为NE25°。如由花莲地区地表断距估计，断层倾伏角为31°。假设倾角与第二次地震（11∶29）的一样，即为85°SE，断层面解表明应力轴为154°∠18°。这两次地震的最大压应力轴近北西－南东向，这与区域构造应力的方向相一致[16]。值得提出的是台东站测得的第一次地震（05∶34）的P-S波走时（5.8秒）太快，如果地震波起自美伦断层，经北面的花莲并穿越整条纵谷则需更长的时间。此外，只凭一个美伦地震不足以解释自长坪至城宽观测到的破裂现状。这些现象说明，可能曾发生过另一次地震，即在同时发生于过池上断层活化的相近时刻引起的地震[17]。3.5　1951年11月25日地震地表破裂在7.3级地震时出现，丧生者20人，受伤326人，房屋倒塌1000所以上，地震（02∶47）在池上断层以东，3min后玉里断层附近又发生地震（02∶50）。地表破裂的地点靠近池上断层和玉里断层[11,17]，破裂长达40km，报道的最大位移是左旋反向倾斜滑动，位移量达2.08m。次级断裂发生于海岸山脉西缘的塔阜周围。据报道斜向运动造成塔阜附近断崖内有新鲜的擦痕。断层东侧仰冲，倾向滑动量为131cm并向北挤压，走向滑动量达163cm。采用上述的方法确定的第一次地震（02∶47）震中，位于23.125°N和121.225°E，深达16km。地震由一逆掩断层（池上断层）造成[15]，具左旋走滑分量，走向为NE32°，倾角SE70°，倾伏角为S70°。断层面解表明主压应力轴为137°∠22°[3,11]。确定的第二次地震（02∶50）震中位于23.275°N和121.350°E，深度达36km，它可能与玉里断层破裂有关，断裂具逆掩断层分量，为左旋走滑断层，走向为NE25°。倾伏角（40°）由地表断错的擦痕估算得出。假设倾角与池上断层的一样，即SE70°，则断层面解为149°∠10°。此外，这两次地震均为北西－南东向，与区域构造应力相一致[3,11]。3.6　1972年4月24日地震纵谷第三条地表破裂发生于6.7级地震期间，丧生者5人，受伤者17人，房屋倒塌100余所。地表断裂大约在丰滨附近[7,17]。经再定位，地震位于23.638°N和121.551°E，深度达33km，伴随发生有逆掩断层，走向为NE44°，具右旋走滑分量。断层面解表明倾角为SE60°，倾伏角为E62°。此解的主压应力轴证明为水平的，方向为北西西－南东东（108°∠7°）向[4]。震后台湾中央气象局对地震区进行调查[9]，他们的观测结果表明，与1972年地震有关的瑞穗断层无地表断裂迹象。究其原因是地震诱发滑坡[17]。我们发现奇美断层的部分段落和玉里断层则在地震时活化，这在以前未曾报道过。这表明瑞穗地震与右旋走滑的奇美断层和左旋走滑的玉里断层有关[17]。台湾历史上地震地表断裂的数据列于表1、表2以及图1、图2、图3中。表1　地震断层的最大位移表2　台湾历史上地震断层的断层面解图1　台湾历史断层的断层面解图2　台湾西部历史地震的地表断裂图3　台湾东部历史地震的地表断裂致谢　著者谨向在此项研究中曾提出宝贵建议的台湾中央地质研究所Chu Another popular scam is to ask you to call a 900 phone number for "secrets" to getting a credit card or credit repair. Your phone company will charge you a high rate for using a 900 number and you never get the information that was offered.The best advice to avoid secured credit card scams is that if it sounds too good to be true it is. Use your common sense and do not be taken by these crooks.Credit Improvement Issues: Even with a very good payment history on your secured card it can takes many months before you begin to see improvement in your credit record. You have to be patient when repairing bad credit. You also have to be smart. Make sure that the company that issues the secured credit card to you will report your good payment history to the three big credit reporting agencies. Not all companies report and if they do not report you are simply wasting your time.Keep in mind that they will also report your bad payment history if you do not pay on time. Be careful and make your payments on time each and every month.
