every dog has its day什么意思

every dog has its day意思是每个人都有成功的机会。 Every dog has its day Don"t despair. Be patient. Remember every dog has his day!

首先,我们讨论选择电影,不是所有的说英文的电影都适合学英文,传说中的经典《肖申克的救赎》也必须细细品味,才能够听懂并悟出诸如hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it。 When it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear. 同学B:Hi, 同学A:Whatu2019s your name? 同学B:Bond. James Bond. Pleasure to meet you. Hi. Hello, my name is York, York Zhang. Nice to meet you York. Call me Tracy. The pleasure is mine, Tracy(黑客帝国1,慢慢进入正题) What do you think we need to talk about? We are supposed to tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. What truth? Nobody can tell you what it is. You have to walk through the door and see for yourself. Ok, the the truth is I am worrying about the exams the day after tomorrow. You know the CET-6. I have done a lot of work but I am not so sure whether I can handle it. One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it. Your mind is like this water, my friend. When it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear. (功夫熊猫) There was no point in worrying yet.... what would come, would come... and he would have to meet it when it did. I agree. But you know it is my third time to take the test. I couldnu2019t afford to fail again. Do lighten up and sing something with a little bounce in it. That is my problem-free philosophy.(狮子王1) Yes, it at least keeps my nervousness away for a couple of minutes. Hoepfully it really works. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.(肖申克救赎) Do you really believe in the power of hope and faith? Now you"re looking for the secret. But you wonu2019t find it because of course, you"re not really looking. You don"t really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.(致命魔术) Ok(估计很无语,但是发现遇到一个不错的partner,又不舍得走), something else. Do you love cat? Love is a word. What matters is the connection the word implies(黑客帝国3)I prefer dogs because every dog has his day - but the nights are reserved for the cats.(猫狗大战) I prefer cats because they explore something new. Curiosity is not a sin.... But we should exercise caution with our curiosity.(哈利波特—火焰杯) Well, you must have read a lot. Your English is so good. Then why do you come here? We are all here to do what we are all here to do. (黑客帝国2) So how do you practice your oral English? Remember: this time, not I have to, but I choose to. (蝙蝠侠3) Be active? Alright. So who do you practice when you come here? You know who.

every dog has its day什么意思

every dog has its day意思是每个人都有成功的机会。 Every dog has its day Don"t despair. Be patient. Remember every dog has his day!

“every dog has his day”是什么意思?

2. 有关"dog"的英语短语(要10个) It rains dogs and cats倾盆大雨 You are a lucky dog. love me love my dog爱屋及乌 My boss is a jolly dog. Every dog has his day. David works like a dog .David工作真卖劲儿。 The film must be a real dog. Your partner is a dirty dog. The poet died like a dog . They treated him like a dog. You can"t teach an old dog new tricks. He is really a dead dog. There is no point in having a dog--eat--dog attitude. A: We are just making a living here and I thind there is no point in having a dog--eat--dog attitude. B: You are absolutely right. We should be more cooperative. A living dog is better than a dead lion。 生活中,狗被用来形容形形色色的人:即有lucky dog(幸运的人),也有dead dog(没用的人,没有价值的人);既有top dog(斗胜了的狗,喻指“优胜者,左右全局的人”),也有under dog(斗输了的狗,喻指“失败者”)。 1)You can"t teach an old dog new tricks (老狗学不回新把戏) 2)Every dog has its day.(凡人皆有得意日。)。。。

英语中,当谈个人出生的属相时,表达为“What animal sign were you born under? 你属什么?I was born in the year of the Cock / Mine is the Cock. rats desert a sinking ship(船沉鼠先逃,这一谚语意指那些一遇到危险就争先寻求安全或一看见困难便躲得老远的人。) The black Ox has trod on sb"s foot. 与hare组成的词组有:make a hare of sb. start a hare。 You start a hare ever time at the meeting. 2.You cannot run with the hare and hunt with hounds. 以dragon组成的词组也多含贬义,如dragon"s teeth:相互争斗的根源;the old Dragon:魔鬼。 John"s behavior should him to be a snake. 1.a snake in the grass 2.to warm a snake in one"s bosom 养虎贻患,姑息坏人。 3.Takd heed of the snake in the grass. 1.get on the high horse 2.work like a horse 1.As well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb. 2.There"s a black sheep in every flock. 3.He that makes himself a sheep shall be eaten by the wolf. 4.The sheep who talks peace with a wolf will soon be mutton. What are you doing, you young monkey! Stop monkeying about with the TV set! Your last word has really put his monkey up. 你最后一句话实在使他太生气了;又如:make a monkey of 愚弄;a monkey with a long tail 抵押。 Cock of the walk / school 支配别人的人;a cock of the loft / dunghill 在小天地中称王称霸的人;Live like fighting cocks. It is a sad house where the hen crows louder than the cock. 你这个坏小子!a lucky dog 幸运儿,a dumb dog 沉默不语的人。 2.Every dog has his day. 3.Dog does not eat dog. 十二、猪——Boar 在英语中boar一词指公猪和公野猪,涉及猪的词语有pig(猪、小猪、野猪),hog(食用猪)、sow(牝猪)。
