我也来抛砖引玉下。街舞中所说的“Freeze”，不是单独的舞种。从大到小，从粗到细的分类：是指OldSkool大类中的Break"in风格中的PowerMove中的一种动作类型的总称。这种动作类型是特指在Break"in舞蹈中，舞者采用使肢体保持某种特定造型暂时凝固不动为特征的动作类型的总称。街舞中的Freeze可以直接采用英语直译为：冻结。作为一种动作类型的总称，当同样采用肢体“冻结”，保持暂时凝固不动为特征的，造型动作不同的动作，也有不同的名称。（如动作要领大致相同，但难易程度不同，“冻结”后造型略有差异还可以再细分都叫“Chair”的Freeze动作。如“冻结”后，两腿形成"NIKE”勾状商标的Freeze动作。如“冻结”后，是双手支撑倒立，双脚或都伸直或一曲一直向后方弯曲，身体形成倒立且反弓状叫“HollowBack”的Freeze动作等等）在表演或Battle中，和PowerMove的作用一样，是舞者用肢体表达出自己对音乐理解的手段之一。对于一段音乐所包含的各种元素，Break"in舞者也会用不同的舞蹈动作（如TopRock、UpRock、Footwalk等）的串连、过渡、衔接不同的PowerMove（按个人理解不同，可能会选用某个或某几个或几段Freeze动作连接）来体现。如果脱离了音乐，纯粹以Freeze动作Battle，只能是身体能力的比拼。无法体现出，作为舞者的任何肢体表现，都来自于对音乐的理解，这一主要特征。所以，舞者，是不应该，也不会以身体能力为标准进行battle的。PS：舞蹈中OldSkool是相对NewSkool来说的，主要是以音乐风格的变化来划分的。OldSkool舞蹈包含有：Lock"in、Poppin、Break"in这3种风格为主。PowerMove是指Break"in舞蹈特有的“力量动作”，但这里的“力量”不是指身体的力量，而是指舞者为体现音乐中的力量所做出相应的“体现音乐力度的动作”。虽然也需要身体的力量，但前提并非单纯为展示身体力量而已。Battle是指战斗的“斗”。是黑人文化中特有的，以某种非暴力的项目（如街头篮球、自由式说唱、街头舞蹈等）；以公平的、大家都认可的评判标准（其中又以观众的呼声为主）；以面对面的形式来展现和比拼能力的方式。
