This album set a record in Taiwan during the 9th GMA as the first album from a new singer to be nominated for 5 awards - Best Newcomer, Best Singer, Best Producer, Best Song and Best Album. Tao won two awards, Best Newcomer and Best Producer becoming the first newcomer/singer to also win a Best Producer award. 台湾电影的衰退，最早可追溯至1992年，当时所有电影市场的配额，是在GATT中讨论，市场一直处在不利的位置，1996年起，每年产出量一直维持在15至20部，票房市占率盘旋在全台总票房1～2%间，这悲惨的景况到2003年达到谷底，这年仅推出15部台湾影片，总票房约NT1,500万元，不到总票房的1%，这样的票房相当于《铁达尼号》的40%，台湾影片当年愁云惨雾，台湾电影可谓是 *** 放弃的产业。 低谷期 2000年后，台湾的电影偶有佳作，如2000年的《卧虎藏龙》、2002年的《双瞳》、2005年的《刺青》等；但整体上，台湾的电影市场仍由好莱坞电影主宰，持续处于弱势。 自1985年年起，台湾产量与发行量较多的如学甫、龙族、丽城、中影、上上、倍伦、新船、金壂、学者、龙祥…等各公司均因各种因素萎缩产量，其制片量一路下滑。不但如此，维系电影产业的上述几家公司，产业重心也移往如有线电视的影视产业。在产业无法支持下，惟剩台湾当局于文化维持的压力下，勉为其难出资维持。1998年，台湾电影生产不到20部，2001年1－10月间，仅达11部，至2006年，台湾电影于台湾市占率则仅1.62%。 理想单兵战斗武器(Objective Individual Combat Weapon)，已经由美国陆军正式命名为XM29。XM29是为“陆地勇士”(Land Warrior)开发的单兵战斗武器，也是陆军的“未来战斗系统”(Future Combat System)计划的一个重要组成部分。现在“陆地勇士”已经成为陆军新提出的“理想部队勇士”的一部分，因此陆军又要求ATK在XM29的动能武器基础上提供一种新步枪——XM8，将来作为轻型武器族(Lightweight Family of Weapons)与XM29一同服役，取代目前使用的M16系列，简化野战部队的维护作业。在M16步枪枪管下加挂M203榴弹发射器，虽然提高了武器战斗力，但却降低了武器便携性和射击精度。美国自20世纪90年代初起，就在JSSAP（Joint Service Small Arms Master Plan——三军轻武器总规划，现已更名为Joint Service Small Arms Master Program）框架内，考虑是否可以研制一种由突击步枪和榴弹发射器组成的单一武器。为此，五角大楼的JSSAP委员会提出了这种武器的需求计划，其名称就叫做“理想单兵战斗武器”，简称OICW。 第一阶段 提出指标和招商 美军在1994年对OICW的各项产品进行招标，要求各厂商对所提要求的可操作性发表意见，并提出研制相应武器的建议，军方提出的指标大体如下： 左右两手均可操作 步枪与榴弹发射器合用一个发射机构 采用灵巧榴弹 对点目标的射程500m 对面目标的射程1,000m 武器长度小于33英寸(838mm) 含30发动能弹和6发高爆弹在内，武器总质量不大于14磅(6.35kg) 这些指标反映了军方的最高要求，其中有一部分是目前的技术水平所达不到的。指标中的榴弹口径，若口径大且实现弹道低伸，发射时后坐冲量就偏高；若口径小武器质量会较轻，可以肩射但影响杀伤效果。作为两者的折中，最终选用了20mm口径。至于其他一些指标，为了具有可操作性，军方充分听取工业部门的意见。因为OICW系统由武器本身、光学瞄具和弹药三部分组成，一个厂家不能同时掌握多种技术，要靠多家武器制造商合作，为此组成了几个战略性集团进行投标，每个集团由一家厂商牵头，数家厂商分别对各项技术进行攻关。 1994年12月，军方根据各个集团提交的研究方案，决定了由两个集团继续进行下一步的研制工作。一个是由AAI公司牵头的集团，另一个集团由阿连特科技(ATK，Alliant Techsystems)公司牵头。 AAI集团包括了FN公司和奥林公司，武器系统本身由FN公司负责，20mm高爆弹由AAI公司和奥林公司负责，另外瞄具系统及其他子系统则由另外一些公司负责。 ATK集团包括HK公司在内，武器系统由HK公司负责，而阿连特公司则负责20mm高爆弹，瞄具系统由康特拉维斯公司研制。 第二阶段 研制子系统 这个阶段从1996年2月开始，目标是研制能满足预定指标的各个子系统，到这个阶段结束时提交单项论证报告。在OICW系统中，比较容易的是5.56mm突击步枪，因为可以借鉴其他产品的大量经验。难题是半自动榴弹发射器的研制和必须两边操作的要求。 在这一阶段中，ATK的样枪采用两管并列，这张黑白照片就是HK公司的OICW样品。步枪枪管和20mm枪管左右并列，这样从侧面看起来好像尺寸比较小，其实由于横向体积非常大，因此操作起来并不方便，而且比起AAI集团的样品实际上要重得多。而AAI集团则提交了令人信服的武器功能模块。两个集团进行着激烈的竞争。 第三阶段 样枪演示 第三阶段的目标是提交能够将各个模块组合在一起并进行演示的样枪。从1996年底到1997年初，HK公司将它的样枪重新组合，将两管并列改为上下排列，改成与AAI集团的OICW结构相同的武器系统，经过一年的加紧研制，拿出了第三阶段的样枪，在1998年2月举行了结论性的技术演示，HK公司的样枪打响了第一枪。在结论性技术演示中，ATK最终战胜了竞争对手AAI集团，取得了制造6支先期样枪的合同。 第四阶段 样枪试验 6支样枪的研制在1998年4月到1999年6月底完成，1999年7月样枪被送交本宁堡步兵学校，同时提供大约25,000发20mm弹药(5,000发高爆弹和20,000发目标训练弹)，由美国陆军第25步兵师(绰号“热带雷电”的实战部队)进行靶场、丛林、沙漠及各种恶劣环境下的试验，为OICW今后的改进提供了系统的参考资料。1999年9月29日的试验中，一发20mm榴弹在枪管中爆炸，并有人员受伤，但似乎并不影响OICW的总体进程。2000年8月8日，ATK与美国陆军签定了9,500万美元的承包合同，用于OICW方案定义与降低风险阶段研究。OICW被正式批准为下一代步兵武器，预计在2009财政年度装备部队，因此，估计ATK还有价值相当于1亿300万美元的潜在合同。
