福特Taunus Transit（1953-1965）（第一代）福特全顺的原型可以追溯至1953年福特所生产的一款轻型商用车FK1000。1961年此款车型被称作Ford Taunus Transit。此款车型外形类似于大众面包车，后轮驱动设计，但与后者不同之处，乃前者车头有一个引擎散热网。此款车型于1965年停产，其间销量很少，也不普及。不过其设计开始受到厂方采纳，成为日后研发福特全顺的版本。福特Transit Mark I（1965-1978）（第二代）1965年10月英国福特终于研发出第一部福特全顺，名为马克一型（Mark I）。在当时来说此等设计是一项革命，盖因此等小型商用车是以密封式车厢设计，外形酷似一团面包。如此设计既可视作货物运送外，也可轻易转作客运。引擎以前置设计，方便引擎更换。福特全顺的推出在英国视为一大巨响。它完全取得了轻型货车的主导位置，一些救护车和警车也纷纷采用福特全顺。福特全顺是于1965年起开始在英国和比利时生产；1978年又在土耳其投产。福特Transit Mark II（1978-1985）（第三代）1978年3月，福特全顺来了一个改款版本，名为马克二型（Mark II）。马克二型是把车厢设计来个更换，并采用福特新研制的引擎。车头灯除了有圆形设计外，还有方形选择。然而不少车主都对改款版本有所批评，认为凸轮轴常现磨损问题。在市场上除了救护车和警车之外，反应并不良好。直至1985年停产为止，英国、比利时、土耳其的福特车厂都有生产马克二型。福特Transit VE（1986-2003）（第四代、第五代）1986年1月福特全顺推出全新的VE版本，取代原来的马克二型。VE版本的大特点，是挡风玻璃和引擎盖都设计成同一个斜度，有别于马克二型把引擎盖置在水平线上。而悬挂系统也作出了改良。VE版本在日后不断被生产，尽管型号曾在外形作过改变，轮廓大致相同。除了在英国、比利时和土耳其外，VE版本更在白俄罗斯和越南厂生产。其中越南车厂更于2003年才停产，停产期比其他车厂迟三年。福特Transit V18（2000-2006）（第六代）接下来的福特全顺，在2000年7月推出，是第三个全新设计。主要创新在于，它可以除了在前轮驱动外，也可以后轮驱动。而此版本福特全顺，能够在21秒内产生出97km/h之速度；而其引擎输出功力还相当于同品牌之房车。2001年它赢得了该年度国际轻型商用车奖。2005年第五百万辆福特全顺正式下线，而此车正是V18版本。 此车型乃针对中国市场而设，根据福特全顺VE版本而改良。早在1990年代，福特已于中国引进VE版车型，受到欢迎，因此有改良版本主攻中国市场。整体上此车型在原来版本上作过达七十项改良，包括引擎在内；同时引擎散热网也更换了款式，以适应中国市场的实际环境。2006年此车型于中国推出，生产工作由江铃汽车负责。 2006年再推出新版本。新版本外形与V18版本差不多，惟其最大特点是车头散热网面积有所加大，有别于以往。引擎方面则仍有汽油引擎和柴油引擎选择。其中汽油引还采用了福特美国的卡车Ford Ranger之一款。2007年此版本获得该车度国际轻型商用车大奖。尽管于2006年推出，在中国因为有第四代改良版本的福特全顺生产，此版本要等到2008年才正式于中国市场出售。

国际数据从国外到达新西兰要经过海底电缆,到达本地后就需要经过当地的设备转一转才能最终到达-用户.新西兰境内的数据的移动可以说大部分要经过Telecom的Backhaul,但是不尽然,新西兰除了Telecom,还有TelstraClear主要在大城市市中心铺设的光纤,还有Vecter Fibres,FX networks等等,一个数据包可能要经过很多个公司的综合线路.打个比方你要从奥克兰到惠灵顿朋友家,你的路线可能是做air bus到机场,坐飞机到惠灵顿机场,再坐出租车到达朋友家(最终目的地).其中bus,airplane,taxi可能不是同一个公司的.但是有的时候如果你就想家到附近超市的话,你可能走路,骑自行车或者驾车,这样的不经过其他商业线路的物理移动,可以理解为"peering",但是当你需要使用上边提到的bus/taxi/airplane的时候你当然需要交一定的费用,可以理解为"transit".在现实种没有一家商业公司运输者希望所有的客户都是自己的唯一客户,哪怕是竞争者有时候也要和对手合作来获得客户.在互联网的数据通讯中是同样的道理,一个isp,网络,都需要通过其他的网络来实现接受,发送和交换数据.假如网络中2个连接点是可以直接连接而不用经过其他的收费线路,就是peer连接 而不需要付费.假如你必须要付费经过某网络才能实现数据交换(/传递)的话,那么你使用的transit,需要付费.举个例子,奥克兰大学有不同的分校,连接各个分校之间的就是Peering连接,线路可能是从任何光纤网络公司租的,只需要交线路租用费,而不用交数据传输费用.ISP-ISP之间,ISP和内容提供者之间都可以产生Peering,比如Xnet和Gameplanet合作peering,所以Xnet的用户下载Gameplanet上的内容不计流量.另外一个更大的网络 比如国家与国家之间的连接,比如Telecom 的Global Gateway Internet Service就是Telecom管理的IP Transit服务连接新西兰和澳洲的客户到世界其他国家的网络,主要通过Southern Cross Cables,transit还有peering等..
