　　【中图分类号】G633.4 【文献标识码】A 【文章编号】1009-5071(2012)06-0165-02　　Chant！什么是Chant呢？在小学英语课堂教学中，我们教师可以灵活地把它设计为内容简单，节奏感强，用说唱的形式表现出来的韵文。从而吸引学生的注意力,为英语课堂营造一种生动有趣的学习氛围，使学生积极主动地投入到课堂活动中，同时也能帮助我们解决一些课堂教学中的重难点问题，有效地帮助学生记忆所学知识，降低学习语言的难度，培养学生学习英语的信心。下面我就结合自己的教学实践谈谈Chant在英语教学中的运用： 　　1 Chant能转移并吸引学生的注意力，帮助教师组织课堂 　　我们的小学生有一个明显的特点，那就是活泼好动、好奇心强、模仿能力也很强，但有意注意持续的时间特别短。长时间简单机械的重复操练和学习，容易使学生产生厌烦情绪。如果在教学活动中不时穿插Chant，会使沉闷的课堂泛起阵阵涟漪，让学生把注意重新投入到学习中，使学生在课堂上处于欢快积极的学习状态中。比如刚上课时，教室里还没有安静下来，我们不如采用一个非常简单的Chant把学生的注意力抓住。 　　老师说：One,two,three,学生齐说Four，或者学生说listen to me!然后坐端正。说上一遍我们的学生可能还不能完全安静下来，再说一遍，效果就不同了，最多有三遍就可以了。而且在教学过程中我们也可以用这些Chant。这不但转移了学生的注意力，还营造了一种很好的英语氛围。 　　我们还可以运用下面这个Chant: 　　One, two, go to school; 　　Three, four, open the door; 　　Five, six, close the box; 　　Seven, eight, don"t be late; 　　Nine, ten, meet my friends. 　　在用生降调复习了十个数字的同时也顺便复习了几个动词短语，然后教师就可以进行当天的教学工作了。 　　2 Chant 能调动学生的学习兴趣，降低知识的难度 　　英语学习离不开听、说、读、写﹑译和演，长此以往，单调乏味，很难调动学生的积极性。特别是对于那些好动的小学生来讲，死板教学模式只能削弱他们的积极性。而内容简单、节奏感强、简单易记的Chant，对于小学生说真是很受欢迎，再配合很有动感的音乐和肢体动作表演，会更加得到学生的认可。 　　如在学习了颜色的单词后，我用中英文夹杂编成如下Chant： 　　小熊熊，真调皮，手里拿着大画笔， 　　画片天空是蓝色，blue，blue是蓝色； 　　画片雪花是白色，white，white是白色； 　　画个苹果是红色，red, red 是红色； 　　画棵小树是绿色，green，green是绿色； 　　画根香蕉是黄色，yellow，yellow是黄色； 　　画个茄子是紫色，purple，purple是紫色； 　　最后拿起黑色笔，black，black是黑色； 　　对着镜子画自己，黑不溜瞅真难看，哭着喊着找mummy。 　　我们还可以把含有相同音素的单词变成Chant： 　　Fat cat, fat cat, [ue55b] [ue55b] [ue55b]， 　　Red egg, red egg, [e] [e] [e]， 　　Good book, good book, [u] [u] [u]. 　　欢快的节奏，朗朗上口，再加上动作调动了孩子们所有的感官，学生在不知不觉中就记住了英语知识。 　　在学习了现在进行时后我们可以运用以下Chant： 　　What are you doing now? I am reading now . 　　What are you doing now ? I am dancing now . 　　What are you doing now ? I am singing now . 　　… 　　当学生听着极富动感的Chant，并伴以相应的各种动作，顿时情绪高涨，手舞足蹈，学生也在不知不觉中掌握了这种新的时态，就是系动词be+动词ing。紧接着用另一个Chant可以让学生明确系动词be的用法，那就是be动词用法歌： 　　我用am，你用are， 　　Is跟着他，她，它。 　　He,She,It, 他，她，它。 　　单数名词用is，复数名词全用are。 　　变疑问，往前提，句末问号莫丢弃。 　　变否定，更容易，be后not莫忘记。 　　同样，关于一般将来时态“be going to”的用法也有一个Chant： 　　be going to, 　　表打算，准备，计划，将要干… ； 　　表可能，有必然，通过现象来推断； 　　使用它，要注意，疑问形式be提前； 　　否定句，更简单，not放在be后边； 　　to之后，动原形，be的形式看人称。 　　下列词，要注意，come﹑ go和leave， 　　进行时，表将来，牢牢记住莫忘记。 　　还有一个同义句，就是will加上动原形。 　　很复杂的语法知识，经过这些Chant,是不是变得简单了呢？ 　　3 Chant能让学生体验成功，树立自信 　　教师在教学活动中要多创造机会让学生体验成功，是使他们有成就感，同时建立他们的自信心。由于Chant句式简单，只要稍加练习，加上集体表演便会掌握。当他们学有所得时，对学习英语就更有信心了，学起来就更加积极主动了。 　　如在学完动物单词后，我设计了以下Chant: 　　动物园zoo里真热闹： 　　长颈鹿giraffe脖子长，猴子monkey 爬得高。 　　熊猫panda胖乎乎，大象elephant 鼻子长， 　　稀有动物正减少，保护动物很重要。 　　紧接着让学生们自己发挥想象，想想还有那些动物，顿时学生们跃跃欲试。有的说：山羊sheep咩咩咩，还有的说马儿horse得得得，等等。然后再从中选出几首优秀作品让学生集体来吟唱。通过这样的活动，学生从学习Chant到创作Chant，一步一步地尝到了成功的喜悦，就会增加学习英语的信心。同时使学生掌握英语正确的语音、语调，并打好书写和拼读的基础，我们何乐而不为呢？ 　　Chant还可以培养学生良好语感的形成,使学生易于接受新的语言知识。如在学习了hungry 和thirsty 以后就有这样一个Chant: 　　Hungry, hungry. I"m hungry. I want a pear. 　　Hungry, hungry. I"m hungry. I want a bear. 　　Thirsty, thirsty. I"m thirsty. I want some coke . 　　Thirsty, thirsty. I"m thirsty. I want some water. 　　同样用升降调来读单词，再配以夸张的动作，这个新的语言知识很快就被学生们掌握了。 　　现如今， Chant已成为英语课堂教学中不可缺少的重要组成部分之一。因为它有助于激发学生的学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛，减轻学习的压力。作为一名小学英语教师，我们要学会终身学习，实现自身的可持续发展；要珍惜每一次学习的机会，采集别人的课堂亮点知识，善于积累和总结各式各样的Chant，并运用到自己的课堂中，丰富自己的英语课堂。因为恰到好处地运用Chant，能极大地提高学生学习英语的兴趣，让英语课堂充满活力，提高课堂教学效果，实现有效教学。
