副词有比较级。英语里形容词、副词的比较级、最高级变化一共有两大类。即规则变化和不规则变化。副词用以修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念。 规则变化 1、形容词、副词的比较级、最高级规则变化分二种 一是“前加”（即在多音节词或部分双音节词前加more、most） example: popular---more popular---most popular unlucky---more unlucky---most unlucky serious---more serious---most serious tired ----more tired-----most tired 另外（前加）方法还有一个表示否定意义的形式，前加less、least exciting--less exciting--least exciting intelligent--less intelligent--least intelligent 二是“后加”（即在单音节词或双音节词后加 erest） example: tall--taller---tallest big--bigger---biggest early---earlier--earliest 2、大部分以 ly 结尾的形容词、副词都是用（前加）来构成比较级和最高级的 slowly--more slowly---most slowly friendly--more friendly---most friendly 不规则变化 在初中英语课本里常用的形容词、副词共有十一个，而且是二个或三个词共用一个比较级、最高级形式。因此比较好记。 e.g. good---better---best bad---wore---worst much---more---most old---elder---eldest（指家庭关系中年长的) old---older---oldest（属于规则变化，泛指年龄大的） 注：elder不能与than连用，只能用作定语修饰名词。
