WER（World Educational Robot Contest）是一项面向全球3-18岁少年儿童、中职学生、高职学生以及大学生的教育机器人比赛，由世界教育机器人学会（World Educational Robotics Society）主办。WERS和WER由教育机器人学共同创始人恽为民博士和Jake Mendelssohn教授于2012年创立。WER的核心教育价值是训练成功能力，提升科技素养，磨砺科技天才。历届大赛主题2013年WER大赛主题：智能机器人管家；2014年WER大赛主题：史前时代；2015年WER大赛主题：文明起源；2016年WER大赛主题：撬动地球；2017年WER大赛主题：工业时代；2018年WER大赛主题：信息时代；2019年WER大赛主题：人工智能；2020年WER大赛主题：万物互联；2021年WER大赛主题：低碳环保。
