20W／50就不如5W／40易起动；二、增加耗油量黏度高的机油阻力也高，会使引擎内部机件的运转产生更高的摩擦阻力，耗油量因而增加；三、增加启动时引擎的磨损引擎在一段时间没发动时，原本附着在上部的机油会流回油底壳，上部缺乏足够的机油来保护在启动状况下的引擎，如果机油黏度浓流动就慢，因此磨损的几率就会增加；四、如果机油黏度太浓则内部阻力较大，阻力会转换成热能，使机件操作时温度升高。电喷车用哪种机油时下新出的汽车中，电喷车的比例越来越多，许多车主都以拥有电喷车为荣。的确，电喷车有不少优点，例如它的发动机功率就比化油器式发动机平均提高了15%—20%。不过，它对机油的要求，尤其是抗高氧化性等技术指标的要求也越来越苛刻。安装三元催化转化器装置的电喷发动机对机油的要求还要严格。安装三元催化转化器必须具备两个条件，一是必须实行汽油无铅化，因为汽油中的铅会使催化剂中毒而失效；二是安装三元催化转化器的电喷车必须使用磷含量在0.12%以下的机油。如果机油中的磷含量过高，就会导致催化剂失效，使三元催化转化器的寿命缩短，排放的废气就无法降到最低。机油中的磷含量低于0.12%才能保证三元催化转化器的工作正常进行。而磷含量在0.12%以下的机油级别为APISH及其以上级别的油品。因此，如果你的车是电喷车且安装了三元催化转化器的话，在添加机油时应选用SH及SH以上级别的机油，这样才能保证您的汽车行驶起来顺利安全。机油质量的鉴别发动机的润滑系统，与人体的血液循环系统非常相似。人体离不开健康的血液，一旦失血过多或血液发生质变，生命将受到严重威胁，甚至失去生命。一台发动机工作质量的好坏与寿命的长短，在很大程度上取决于机油数量的多少和质量的优劣。健康的人体具备造血功能，能及时补充新鲜血液，而发动机却做不到这一点。另阻，对机油作用的理解和重视程度将起着决定性的作用，发动机的"生命"就掌握在你的手中。如国产EQ1091载货汽车，有的60万公里不大修，而有的几万公里就大修，存在着巨大的差别。这里面虽然也有其它因素的影响，但润滑是最主要的原因。下面着重介绍简陋条件下机油质量的鉴别和更换方法。机油质量的鉴别与选用（一）新机油质量的鉴别与选用目前，市场出售的机油并非那么"纯洁"，以次充好，以劣充优的现象普遍存在。当你需要购买机油时，如果不具备质量鉴别和牌号识别能力，应请专门的技术员或经验丰富的技工帮助选择。1、观察机油颜色国产正牌散装机油多为浅蓝色，具有明亮的光泽，流动均匀。凡是颜色不均、流动时带有异色线条者均为伪劣或变质机油，若使用此类机油，将严重损害发动机。进口机油的颜色为金黄略带蓝色，晶莹透明，油桶制造精致，图案字码的边缘清晰、整齐，无漏色和重叠现象，否则为假货。2、识别机油牌号和试验粘度国产桶装机油分汽油机油和柴油机油两种。汽油机油按粘度分为HQ—6、HQ—6D、HQ—10和HQ—15四种牌号，气温低应选用牌号数字小的或带"D"字的机油，气温高应选用牌号数字大的机油。柴油机油按粘度分为HC—8、HC—11和HC—14号三种牌号，选用原则与汽油机相同。随着我国机械行业与国际标准逐步接轨，机油的牌号也逐渐与国际标准相适应，目前有些国产机油的牌号已使用进口机油标准牌号，具体选用方法与下述相同。进口机油以丰田纯牌机油为例：高级轿车应使用5W—40全天候机油，虽然价格较高，但它能确保高级轿车的润滑效果；增压柴油机应使用CD—30机油；一般车辆冬季使用SG10W—30机油，夏季使用SG—30机油。3、闻气味合格的机油应无特别的气味，只略带芳香。凡是对嗅觉刺激大且有异味的机油均为变质或劣质机油，绝对不可使用。(二)使用中机油的鉴别鉴别使用中机油的质量，是确定是否需要更换机油的依据。1、搓捻鉴别取出油底壳中的少许机油，放在手指上搓捻。搓捻时，如有粘稠感觉，并有拉丝现象，说明机油未变质，仍可继续使用，否则应更换。2、油尺鉴别抽出机油标尺对着光亮处观察刻度线是否清晰，当透过油尺上的机油看不请刻线时，则说明机油过脏，需立即更换。3、倾倒鉴别取油底壳中的少量机油注入一容器内，然后从容器中慢慢倒出，观察油流的光泽和粘度。若油流能保持细长且均匀，说明机油内没有胶质及杂质，还可使用一段时间，否则应更换。4、油滴检查在白纸上滴一滴油底壳中的机油，若油滴中心黑点很大，呈黑褐色且均匀无颗粒，周围黄色浸润很小，说明机油变质应更换。若油滴中心黑点小而且颜色较浅，周围的黄色浸润痕迹较大，表明机油还可以使用。以上检查均应在发动机停机后机油还未沉淀时进行，否则有可能得不到正确结论。因为机油沉淀后，浮在上面的往往是好的机油，这样检查的只是表面现象，而变质机油或杂质存留在油底壳的底部，从而可能造成误检。你该用什样的机油根据非正式的统计，国内汽车商品中单是机油就超过几十种品牌，只要你走一趟汽车百货店，全合成、半合成矿物油，SG、SH、真的看的眼都花了真不知如何挑起，真不知该用哪一种才适合。而商家所推荐的也几乎都是获利高的商品，真正好用、真正适用，倒也未必。我们从车厂的要求，机油制造厂的建议，一些国际知名车队的使用经验中整理出一些概念，希望你能从中找出你对机油的选择的依据。依品质来区别机油因其基础油之不同可简分为矿物油及合成油两种（植物油因产量稀少故不计）。二者最大差别在于∶合成油使用的温度更广，使用期限更长，以及长本更高；同样的油膜要求，合成油可用较低的黏度就可达成，而矿物油就需用相对于合成油较浓的黏度才可达到如此要求。换句话说，在相同的工作环境里，合成油用较低的黏度就可以达到保护引擎的目的。同样，在相同的工作环境里，合成油因为使用期限比矿物油长很多，因此虽然成本较高，但是比较换油次数之后，并不比矿物油高很多。（先声明∶本文不考虑所谓的半合成机油，子曰 ∶吾恶紫之夺朱）依黏度来区分黏度是指流体（含气体及液体）在流动时它内部的摩擦力，即流滞阻力。一般润滑油都会提供在华氏40度及华氏 100度时的黏度，40度是相对于冷车时的状况，而100度是高速运转或塞车时的情况。如果黏度太浓，所产生的阻力也相对提高因此会有些状况发生。如∶ 一、影响冷车时引擎的启动。这在低温时会更明显，例如在冬季时到玉山赏雪，2OW/50就会比5W/40来的不易起动。二、增加耗油量。黏度高的机油阻力也高会使引擎内部机件的运转产生更高的摩擦阻力，耗油量因而增加。三、增加启动时引擎的磨损。引擎在一段时间没发动时，原本附著在上部的机油会流回油底壳，上部缺乏足够的机油来保持在启动状况下的引擎，如果机油黏度浓流动就慢，因此磨损的机率就会增加。四、如果机油黏度太浓则内部阻力较大，阻力会转换成热，使机件操作时温度升高。依使用环境的气温来决定任何一家汽车厂几乎都会在车主手册中建议最合适的机油黏度。全世界对机油最挑剔的车厂当属保时捷，因为它是气冷式引擎，一切只靠机油来冷却，它内部的技术通告中，就对每一款送验（油品制造商要求）的机油作出结论。但是最基本的，它还是要求车主依使用环境的气温来决定用何种机油。以台湾而言，气温最低不低于摄氏五度，最高不曾高过摄氏四十度，在这范围内一般上，10W/40、10W/30都不适合，而合成油最少要5W/40以上。5W/30、10W/30都不适合。以上是在挑选机油时你必须了解的常识，以先用车环境的气温来决定机油黏度，再以预算来考虑用矿物油或合成油。纯代步用何种油如果汽车只是一种代步工具，而且你只有上下班时才会用的到，车狂实在很想劝你将车卖掉改搭公车算了，何必再为车龙增添尾巴，15W/40的一般矿物油就够你用了。如果你想节省汽油费用，全合成的5W/40可以满足你的要求，因为它的流动快，还可减少你启动时引擎的磨损。喜欢拉转数应该用何种油引擎转数越高，相对的温度也会越高，因此就应该用黏度大一点的机油。如5W/50、10W/50或15W/50。但是前面提过黏度越高，相对的阻力就越大，引擎性能多少会削弱一点，因此合成油就可弥补这缺点。因为合成油可以用较低的黏度，来满足相对于矿物油必须用高黏度才能符合的工作条件。但是这时你要考虑车辆本身的引擎容积输出，如两千以下的四缸车，转数一拉后来快就到红线，或许稍浓一点的机油（例如10W/40相对于5W/40），会比较合适。因为汽缸和活塞环之间的空隙是由机油来密封的，黏度高的密封效果当然比较好，三千以上的，六缸以上的，这类车引擎转数通常比较不会上到红线（当然也有例外），因此就比较不必那讲究。另一种决定黏度的方式是，跑一阵子以后注意听引擎气门声，如果"达达"声很明显，那你就应该将黏度增加。
