说说看我的意见，既然Nature 特别强调了自己期刊的缩写，就以建议的为准。因为原则上讲，应该是有权力规定自己期刊的全名和缩写的。特别在guide for authors里强调了每个子刊的缩写，也侧面说明了自然子刊系列期刊缩写的混乱，这会给统计期刊引用次数和计算影响因子带来不必要的麻烦。期刊的缩写是有惯例的，如，名字只有一个单词的期刊不缩写。像Nature，Science，Cell，Small，Nanotechnology，这种一个词的期刊引用时候都要写全称。在多个单词的期刊里，单词如何缩写也是都有相应标准的。像 Journal这个词缩写成J.，Science这个词缩写成Sci.，Chemistry缩写成Chem.，Material缩写成Mater.等等（注意缩写要有“点”的哟）。按照这个惯例，则自然子刊的第一个词Nature是可以缩写成Nat.的，因为符合缩写习惯。我特意上了Nature，挨个看了这些期刊的缩写规定。发现这个问题比我想象的要复杂。
