1、eachother只能用于两者之间,是互相、彼此的意思。如：wepromisedeachotherothertoworkhard.我们彼此允诺要努力用功.2、没有eachothers这种用法。3、other可以做形容词，表示其他的，比如otherpeople其他的人。也可以做代词，但是做代词时一般不以原形出现，一般用以"theother"或者以复数形式“others”出现。4、theother定指其它的……，其后可接可数名词和单数，如：theotherbook另外的一本书，theothermap另一张地图，其后也可跟可数名词的复数形式，如：theotherflowers其他的花朵，theotherteachers其它的老师们，还可以接不可数名词，如：theotherwater剩下的水，theotherbeer别的啤酒
