【Abstract】 Objective: To explore influence on acute myocardial infarction (acute myocardial infarction, AMI) in patients with stent implantation following the doctor"s behavior by telephone interview . Methods: Run telephone following observation of 196 cases of stent implantation in AMI patients , in which ,the 86 patients during January 2007 ~ December 2007 were the controlled group,they received routine health education and guidance after the operation.;the 110 patients during January 2008 ~ December 2008 were the observed group, they received regular health education and discharge after the operation on the basis of guidance by nurses once a month telephone follow pairs of patients with health education and medication supervision and guidance to observe the compliance behaviors of patients and complications evaluated of both groups in a year. Results: The observation group is superior to the control group in compliance behaviors after the intervention medical medication compliance, compliance with medical review, diet, smoking cessation limit spending, emotional control, and exercise therapy (P <0.05). The observation group can reduce stent implantation postoperative complications,too.
Conclusion:Run effective telephone revisit to AMI patients with stent implantation ,to play the role of family and social support ,which can enhance its compliance behaviors and reduce the incidence of complications after stent implantation .There"s an extremely important significance improving the nurse-patient relationship and nursing work satisfaction .

The effects of telephone follow-up on patient adherence following stent implantation for AMI
Abstract
Objective: The study is to explore the effects of telephone follow-up on patient adherence following coronary stent implantation for acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
Methods: Totally 196 AMI patients who had received stent implantation were included into the telephone follow-up study, 86 patients admitted between January 2007 and December 2007 being assigned to the control group and 110 patients admitted between January 2008 and December 2008 to the treatment group. The control group received routine care after the surgery such as health education and discharge instructions, while for the treatment group, in addition to the routine care, a nurse phoned the patients once a month to instruct them in taking medication and monitor their adherence as well as carrying out some health education. The adherence behaviour and post-surgery complications within one-year period of both groups were compared.
Results: After the intervention, the treatment group had superior outcomes as compared with the control group in such adherence behaviours as taking medication and post-surgery examination, as well as in dietary therapy, smoking cessation, moderate alcohol consumption, emotional adjustment and doing exercises (P<0.05). The treatment group also had fewer complications following stent implantation .
Conclusion: Effective telephone follow-up following angioplasty (stent implantation) for AMI patients can enhance adherence behaviour and reduce post-surgery complications by giving full play to the support from the family and community. It is of great importance to improvement of nurse-patient relationship and patient satisfaction with nursing care.
