最近接到单位通知,需要参加英语职业水平测试,于是又哼哧哼哧的学起英语来了。但是在做自测题之后,才发现成绩很低,错的一塌糊涂。 翻开自己的电脑资料库,有很多搜集的英语学习资料,最早的能追溯到大学期间。从大学算起,近十年来一直有学好英语的想法,但是总是会发现这样一个事实。英语一直没能学好。 自诩为一个聪明人的我,为什么十几年却学不好一门英语呢。 仔细思考了一下,或许有以下几点原因。 1、没有独立自主的学习意识,习惯了被他人安排。小时候被家长逼着,长大了被单位逼着。总是事到临头才重新拾起课本。受到类似的压迫久了,自然而然形成习惯,失去了自主学习的动力,而英语想要学好恰恰需要的是自主学习。 2、只把英语当成完任务,沉迷于各种技巧捷径之中。我们研究了各种正确选出答案却无须看懂题目的应试技巧。这样做的后果就是我们英语水平始终在原地踏步。而想要学好英语,需要的是踏踏实实的打基础。 3、从来只是把英语当成课程来学习,从而陷入到无穷无尽的语法、表达细节中,不能像对待母语一样对待英语。英语是语言,需要使用需要交流。而我们缺少的就是英语使用的环境。 4、过分注重所谓的学习方法,对学法极其挑剔,却不肯花费时间熬过学习的瓶颈期。不管用什么方法,总会有难受不舒服没结果的时候。本来需要坚守,结果却不停变换。正如板凳没有来得及坐热,又换到新的座位上了。 解决的办法其实只有一个,下“笨功夫”。踏踏实实的从基础做起。一关关的攻克单词关,语法关,阅读关。抛弃所谓的技巧。回到初始的听写背诵之中。正如逆向英语的钟道隆教授所叙述的,踏踏实实打好基础,才是重中之重。
